Default McCoy comparison stats from ProFootball Focus

  • McCoy has the 6th best pocket presence, only behind Big Ben, Romo, Ryan, Manning & Freeman.
  • When under pressure, McCoy is more accurate than Flacco, Sanchez, Bradford, Tavaris, Fitzpatrick & Cassel.
  • McCoy has a better deep passing accuracy % than Matt Ryan, Ben Roethlisberger & Sanchez.
  • McCoy has a better accuracy % than Flacco, Bradford, Sanchez, Kolb & Cutler. All who have No. 1 WRs.
  • McCoy has higher QB rating than Flacco, Freeman, Bradford, Kolb, Cassel & Tavaris. Again, all have No. 1 WRs.
  • The Browns OLine has given up the 4th most QB hits in the NFL this season
  • And lastly, guess who leads the league in dropped passes. Our Browns.

The more I read stuff like this the madder I get.

These assholes in the FO and coaching staff are gonna let a young, talented QB take the fall for their piss poor management and coaching and playcalling.

I think Colt goes somewhere and becomes a great QB...while we keep drafting first round busts.

GRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

Mark it down, EM lands a HC gig somewheres like AZ or something, trades peanuts for Colt and he and Colt enjoy a decade of winning seasons together.

I agree Hiway!!! Colt just seems to have "it." The resident quarterback expert would totally disagree, because he's too short ,can't spin it ( whatever that has anything to do with the price of pig iron in China),has weak arm, slow release, and doesn't reside in sunny California. Maybe I'm full of shit but McCoy seems like the type guy who'll take someone... whether it be the Browns or another team to that "special" place.

Btw...this is Bandaid and not Shortie...I'm dog sitting while he's at work. His baby Freya just got back from the vet after having her rear leg amputated due to an out of control tumor. She seems to be doing fine but it breaks my heart.

all this shows is that we need offensive linemen. i say we use at least one of our first round pics for a right tackle. maybe a 2nd or 3rd for a solid guard.

I can actually envision this...we pick Barkley with our first pick and a right tackle with our second and we go 3-13 and somehow ,someway, Shep will put it all on McCoys weak arm!!!

Tom Brady's O-line consists of 2 first rounders, 2 second rounders, and a 5-time FA pro-bowler.

So, I suppose you right.

exactly all the best O-lines are built in the draft. out of high draft picks. our 2 best O-linemen are 1st rounders

Ain't no way!! EVERYONE knows that offensive linemen are found in rounds 3 thru 5! Only elite quarterbacks and receivers are found in round one!!!
