by Dan Kadar on Nov 23, 2011 7:11 PM EST in 2012 NFL Draft When pressed last week about whether or not he'll enter the 2012 NFL Draft, Alabama running back Trent Richardson said he's returning for his senior season. "I have got a whole 地other year," Richardson told the media. "I知 not worried about anything else. I知 going to be here for a whole 地other year. I知 just ready to stay here and play football." It's a surprising stance given both the short shelf life of NFL running backs and considered so highly regarded. For many, he's the top draft-eligible running back in college football. He's big, strong and has better hands than most realize. Although running backs typically drop in the draft, Richardson is the rare player who could warrant a top 10 pick. 2012 NFL Draft: Trent Richardson says he's playing another year for Alabama - Mocking The Draft

FWIW, Hillis received a platelette rich plasma injection into his hammy shortly after re-injuring it the last time. It has a typical recoup time of 2-4 weeks, which ironically is about the amount of time Hillis has been out since the re-injury. Don't get me wrong, I think he may have gone an extra week if Obi wasn't balling and Hardesty was coming back this week, but he is probably about ready...although pushing it a bit due to those "issues". Keep in mind, Lauvao and Pinkston are getting kudos for improved play, so don't necessarily think that OBI's stats are directly correlated to Hardesty/Hillis stats earlier in the year. It can also be argued that the continued improvement of our ROOKIE WR group, and the growth at QB and more diverse play calling may also be in play in the increased effectiveness at RB. Still, I look forward to seeing Hillis/Hardesty/Obi all healthy and pounding away at the Steeler/Raven/Bengal defenses. If they can all stay healthy and fresh, we may be able to put a dent in them enough to keep Colt clean.
