Yeah I'm not sold, he's well past his expatriation date, isn't he like 32? Injuries have trumped his play the last two seasons. The price his agent would most likely be clamoring for just wouldn't be worth it. I think we're alright with what we got. If we can add a guy in the draft, awesome but there just isn't really any free agents that are left that are worth taking a chance on. Maybe Tory Holt? But I don't know. I've given up on hoping we would add a WR to make an impact, I mean there's still time but I've resigned my hope to hoping the players we have on roster will step it up. Particularly Chansey Suckey... I mean Stuckey.
__________________ BROWNS 2012: Its Weeden's job to lose, it was the second we took him #22 overall. We had a pretty good draft, and I'd like to start seeing some results. Fans already looking to next year and I don't blame them. I think we will have things to be excited about that we lacked last year and we have some real facepalm moments just like last year. It's going to be tough. We aren't Barking Hard for nothing. WOOF WOOF WOOF! ![]() |

If there's demand for his supply - his agent has to be on crack if he's raises the price tag through the roof. What's it hurt us to see what he has left? Worst case scenario we cut him - best case scenario we find the WR that helped Philly meet the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC Championship within the last 2 years. I think he became available because they have first round draft picks starting at WR which outdates the stop-gap thing all together. The Lance Moore idea was good Dawgfan had because he's a proven commodity - at least when Drew Brees is his QB. BUT, we lose that draft pick we might need to draft a Colt McCoy calibre QB in the process of addressing our passing game. As for Mz's concern that GOOD players aren't available at bargain prices - we have a recently signed Matt Roth that says otherwise. That guy can play and was a better bang for the buck than Wimbley. We landed Josh Cribbs at the NFL version of the Dollar Store. In fact, they marked him down to 50% off when it was discovered he wasn't invited to the Indy combines. I'd say that's been a nice bang for the buck that 30 other teams expressed 0 interest in signing. - Tom F. |

KEVIN CURTIS AVAILABLE FOR PENNIES ON THE DOLLAR! THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A BETTER TIME TO BUY KEVIN CURTISES! WE'RE NOT JUST SELLING THEM; WE'RE GIVING THEM AWAY! NO PAYMENTS, NO INTEREST FOR 6 MONTHS! KEVIN CURTIS, $3000! KEVIN CURTIS V.1,2: $4000! DROP ON BY AND PICK UP YOUR KEVIN CURTIS TODAY! THESE PRICES WON'T LAST LONG! Also, there are some things that I do want for our team and some that I do not. A veteran receiver who may not be a burner (which is what we need) and will take playing time away from our young WRs is in the latter category. And, uh, well, uh, that's that. Also, I seem to be out of tacks. Could someone direct me to a location where I could find them? |
