Crow,,,other than the years we had with Bernie,Webstar and Langham. This team brought excitement into My living room every week. Brian Sipe was a pure assassin in the last two minutes of the game just ripping defenses apart with his accurate passing. Ozzie Newscome was probably the only player on the team that struck fear on opposing defenses as a pure pass catcher. He was a game changer. Greg Pruitt was a stronger version of Eric Metcalf and Mike Pruitt was a Bull who got the tough yardage and you had Calvin Hill catching Passes out of the backfield. Sam Rutigliano never got enough credit for being one of the most creative offensive minds the Browns ever had. It was simular to Walsh's WCO the offense the browns ran. In fact Brian Sipe was not gifted with a cannon arm. He was much like Montana and McCoy as far as arm strength goes.

This applies for me as well though I think my buddy would love this book, he's been a diehard Browns fan since he was a kid so as long as some of you old timers around here I'm sure

Don Cockroft was on Kiley and Booms the other morning promoting this book so I went directly to the website. I was 12 years old for this season and loved this team more than anything in my life at the time. This is back when life shut down in NE Ohio on Sundays and you didn't see a bunch of Steeler faggots running around everywhere. That team was special and bonded with the entire city. Some of the best all time Browns were on this team, and they were mind blowingly exciting.

I remember I was staying at my mom's one weekend when we played at Minnesota in week 15. A win clinched the division title and we dominated the whole game until Minny kept sneaking back under drunken Tommy Kramer. It came down to the Hail Mary to Ahmad Rashad that I believe Thom Darden (who was a badass BTW) tipped to him for the winning score. I fucking cried like a little bitch cuz I was all alone and then my mom and aunt walked in LOL. My mom was like "are you crying" "about what" "you're crying about the game?" I was so embarrassed because I never cried as a kid and got caught big time.

The next week we went into Cincy and beat them for the division behind of all people Ricky Feacher, who had a great game and still lives in the area.

BTW, Kiley and Booms is a good show and they are on 92.3 The Fan, which is also available as an Android app on radio.com. Booms is a true Browns fan who is also a comedian and cracks me the hell up!! He grew on me big time and there is nothing funnier than when they do the doodle dee dum schtick for Shurmur and the gay "Believeland" stuff.
