Snead just seems like an awful fit for a Walrus-led organization. WCO gurus don't usually show interest in guys with sub-60 completion percentages; Snead only completed 56.3% of his passes during his good year.

Speaking of the Steelers and the Ole Miss connection - WR Mike Wallace was an absolute steal for them last year. The Tennessee Titans paid all kinds of FA cake to former Steeler WR Nate Washington and Wallace takes over his position in Pitt as a wide eyed rookie and upgraded it.

Me thinks Jevan Snead really missed Wallace in 2009. I don't know what happened to Snead in 2009 but all of his numbers went down as his INTs went up. He went from 26 TDs and 13 INTs in 2008 to 20 TDs and 20 INTs in 2009. The reason he ended up at Ole Miss was because he couldn't outperform Colt McCoy at Texas.

None of that means he's gonna suck. I saw him throw one of the best passes I've ever seen when I attended the Ole Miss-Vandy Game. It was about 40 yard rope where he hit the guy in stride. Drafts don't always shake out the way we want them to and if he's available late - he might be tempting. I WISH I saw more of that game where Ole Miss beat Florida in Florida in 2008. You gotta have a little something special to get that done.
