Steelers WR Santonio Holmes denied he had committed any wrongdoing on Monday after he was sued in a Florida civil court by a woman who alleged he assaulted her. Anshonoe Mills claimed in the suit that Holmes threw a glass full of liquor at her on March 7 at the Rain Night Club in Orlando. Holmes told ESPN the issue "will be taken care of quickly, within the next 24 hours." He added: "I really don't have much to say about it because I didn't do anything. My lawyer is handling it from here."Steelers spokesman Dave Lockett told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette the team just learned about the allegation on Monday and was looking to gather more information. The suit also alleged that Holmes and members of the Orlando police department pressured Mills not to press charges because of his standing as an NFL player. Holmes, the MVP of Super Bowl XLIII, offered money to Mills, the suit said. The incident allegedly took place on March 7, two days after Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger was accused of sexual assault in Georgia. -- Sean Leahy |

I have had this premonition that Pittspuke's luck is running out. They have years of karma coming their way and I think it has already started. Polly has bad knees, Smith went down, oline sucks ass and they quit building it, Big Gay is the league's biggest dbag, Holmes has always been a punk no surprise there, guys are getting old, they have missed on quite a few picks lately, their fan base is beyond queer and annoying, we finally beat them, they are vulnerable to the pass and team's are figuring that out, they are on their way down I can feel it.
