I think we should trade for the Bears' TE Greg Olsen post haste.

Default I think we should trade for the Bears' TE Greg Olsen post haste.

He'd be perfect for this offense, is young, and no longer fits in in Chicago.

Could we get him for a three????? He's exactly what we're looking for (unless you are an Evan Moore for President kind of guy).

Quote:
Greg Olsen reported to the Bears' voluntary offseason program on time Monday.

Olsen has been concerned that his role would diminish in new offensive coordinator Mike Martz's tight end-unfriendly scheme, so if the Bears wanted to keep Olsen this year, it's a good sign that he's participating already. Still, we'd be surprised if the Bears didn't field trade offers for Olsen on draft weekend after signing Brandon Manumaleuna to a $15 million deal.

Not a Moore for president kind of guy, but the kid looks like a keeper and we just got Watson and resigned Estrada. Giving up that pick could cost us moving up to get McCoy or somebody else. No go

I'm far from sold on Evan Moore. Estandia is nada. Watson is a short-term fix. Olsen is a long-term solution. If we could get him for one of our third-round picks then I'd be all for it.

how much older is Watson than Olsen????????

better yet we got a lot more missing parts in skill positions to use resources on another TE,.............splain that?

Olson just turned 25, Watson will turn 30 this year.

I'm with Rich on this one, go with what you got for another year and see how these guys pan out. We are always so quick to count guys out for proven names but forget that everybody comes from somewhere. Moore showed some really good promise and we have plenty of other needs than to go after another TE for a third.

If you listened to the presser when these guys took over, Heckert addressed what they were going to do in the draft and a lot of it was predicated on what they do in FA. He basically said needs addressed there will create opportunities in the draft to go after other needs. I kinda thought this was common sense???
