I just made this point in another thread but I stand by it here, it really shouldn't matter WHERE in the draft we pick. Just that we get whoever H3 feels is "our guy". I'm sure that by now they've got a short list of the guys that they want to take with that #7 pick, and not just a 'what-if' list. Because there are players that we just can't expect will make it past the top 5, but that doesn't mean we're all of a sudden out of the running for a good player. It's the job of H3 to make sure that we get 'our guy' doesn't matter what position he plays. A first round pick should be able to step in and make an impact on the team he's on, if not his rookie year than certainly by his second year. How many first round picks have the Browns more-or-less pissed away? This year is as good a reason as ever to start reversing that trend.

I don't care who we take, I just hope we believe in him and I hope that he's the kind of player that we, as fans, can get excited for. Alex Mack, last year, was anyone sure of him? Probably not, but we felt he was our guy and I think he will end up becoming a very important part of this team in the long term.

BROWNS 2012: Its Weeden's job to lose, it was the second we took him #22 overall.
We had a pretty good draft, and I'd like to start seeing some results.
Fans already looking to next year and I don't blame them.
I think we will have things to be excited about that we lacked last year and we have some real facepalm moments just like last year.
It's going to be tough.
We aren't Barking Hard for nothing.
WOOF WOOF WOOF!

Good Points EE! I remember last year I stood up and cheered because he was the best center in the draft. I thought we maybe were going to be able to get him in the second round. I just recall in 08' when Fraley looked horrible and got both of our QB's injured.

Your right we need to get our guy and he needs to be able to come in and make an impact. At #7 we will have our pick of guys that are an improvement of what we have at any position.
