Totally wild, this thread. (Sorry for the Yoda speak.)

I was at my inlaws for an early Christmas celebration yesterday. Watched probably 80% of the game between falling asleep (unreal) and interacting with family. Might not sound like much, but I NEVER miss a snap. I mean never. I was completely non-plussed by the whole thing and didn't even react when we lost.

Its sad, really.

I hear you, G. It's sad when it's not worth the emotion because it's mostly negative emotion.

Unfortunately for me, all my teams (Browns, Bears, ND) have been like this for some time.

I don't need to win every game, I just need not to HATE most games that I watch. Bears were watchable until Cutler and Forte's injuries. ND is mostly unwatchable going on a third decade. Same with the Browns.

Maybe it's me...

I was pretty cool with losing to be honest. It actually went about perfect, some guys had good games, Wallace proved that just replacing Colt isn't the end all and we ddin't screw up our draft slot. Guys played hard too. Shurms coached one of his better games and it looked like there was quite a bit of team comaraderie.

This is where I am at now, losses are cool. I feel much more like an analyst watching the games than I do a fan.

I knew it was going in. Glad I didn't stay to see it.

I kinda understand this...being in a non-friendly market, I don't see many games. Only the last couple of years have I been able to watch so often because of the streams.

I don't get too upset if I'm not watching, but if the opportunity arises, I'll watch.

Maybe I'm a masochist?

The good: Greg Little looked good. Not careful and still cocky (which is his schtick, and I don't want him to change that). Also, Buster Skrine looks like a good late round pick.

The bad: Shurmur seems as bland and unimaginative as ever

The weird: I noticed Malava has a trap-stamp tattoo? WTF!

Our only hope in all of this is Heckert.

If we suck again next year ...I want his head! The no training camp thingy only gives shurmer 6 games next year before I want his head too! I wonder if Holmgren secretly Hates Cleveland!

I no longer watch the games live. i record them and fast forward as through an autopsy. I refuse to get emotionally involved in pointless pain of actually watching live. I have zero faith in this coach and his play calling. I believe he is no leader and he plays petty games with his players. i expect us to keep few of our free agents and lose other players "sick of losing".
I have been a fan since 1964 and I am sick of wasting my time or paying to watch this pointless crap any longer. I had hopes for holmgren yet he made a hash job of his hire and handed the job to a pup in way over his head. we are outcoached every week.
It is NO fun. When I listened to herock make delusional pronouncements about the readiness of our wrs , rb, depth and oline as solid this preseason I spit up. when he even sat on his hands when the donks gave away a solid wr for a #6 I just thought they either don't care or are cheap or stupid. Which one is pointless. I posed we would go 4-12 and was called negative. I think REALISTIC is a better word. I believe herock will draft well, yet I have no belief it will have any effect given this is a leaderless team poorly coached.
