When I think back....spending the day with the Browns was the only thing to do. Now...I did laundry, folded clothes, vacuumed, scrubbed the floor, did the toilets......and I feel I was more productive and happy for my choice! Herkert better grow up Quick! If we suck again next year ...I want his head! The no training camp thingy only gives shurmer 6 games next year before I want his head too! I wonder if Holmgren secretly Hates Cleveland!

Solon, thanks for the honesty. Totally agree. Had a great day checking in and not watching for no good reason.

Same here...until this year, I would never miss a game.

I have missed a few now, on purpose, and the pain is gone.

I don't plan on watching them again or NFL for that matter.

College ball only for me from now on.

Wow, I'm glad I'm not the only one. There was a very small part of me that twinged with discomfort at first when I missed a game, but not so much anymore. Which is why you don't see me posting that often. I can't participate in these "Is Colt the QB of the future" threads, because quite frankly I don't give a fuck if he is or he isn't. They finally did it, almost 12 years of futility has eroded all my warm fuzzy feelings over the Browns.....this is sad.

I've started to watch each game, but if I get discusted it's easy to turn it off and walk away.
Not even my most beloved childhood memmories of the entire family, some now departed, sitting around the tube cheering and gasping in unison are enough to keep me watching.
The games have become nothing more to me than an empty ritual void of any real joy due to countless years of an unwatchable product. My enthusiasm seems to only last from time of the draft until we get our asses handed to us the second or third time.

I will keep tabs on the club for sure; however, the passion is gone...numb to all the losses

I sure as Hell would not spend cash on tickets and drive a total of four hours to sit and watch that sh-t live

Since Browns games are rarely on TV I miss them frequently, though with the new PC/Internet the streams look a lot better I watch them when I have the motivation too, this season, not so much.

We had a pretty good draft, and I'd like to start seeing some results.
Fans already looking to next year and I don't blame them.
I think we will have things to be excited about that we lacked last year and we have some real facepalm moments just like last year.
It's going to be tough.
We aren't Barking Hard for nothing.

It's so easy to turn the game off. It has been since that year where we had BQ and DA alternating at QB under Mangini and were like 1-11 to start the year. That year was so bad that I would just turn off the game and laugh to myself for like an hour at how unbelievable it was. 45 yards passing in a game, with a few of these same turd receivers we started this season with.

Is this franchise for real?

After being deployed all the time and missing EVERY game I can still stomach a few more seasons of this garbage.

Yesterday, I walked out after Fitzgerald caught the ball at the 5. I got some comments about "they could block it" or "Feely will shank it".

I knew it was going in. Glad I didn't stay to see it.

Yeah, well, can't blame any of us. We have a horrible owner and organization and we play in the toughest division in football. Hell, the BUNGLES got good again, just in time to kick us in the nuts.

We'll all be back into it when the time comes but I'm glad to see that we all are equally distinterested. Fan apathy, i.e., lack of ticket sales, is the only thing that will force Lerner to deal with this disaster.

I mean, seriously, can you guys imagine what the British press would do to him if he treated his futbol team like this?

Truly the only reason he gets away with it is that there is no real media in Cleveland to turn up the heat. The only thing Grossi is good at is bitching at and about coaches; he doesn't even try to be helpful in supporting fans.

Anyway, I sense everything rides on 2012. They look this bad next year? They're all gone, and good riddance. Three years of STUPID BAD is plenty. Two down, one to go.
