Default MoMass is a Clown

Did anyone else nearly die of laughter after watching him mis-time his leap on that 4th quarter (or was it OT?) ball?

I can honestly say I've never seen an NFL receiver look so badly uncoordinated.

I have nothing against the guy personally but I don't want him on my team.

Hiway, it was unreal.

Honestly, if you replace his vertical with mine, it looked exactly as if I was playing receiver. I mean he jumped, reached the apex of his leap with his hands extended, started the inevitable descent back to terra firma only to spastically jerk upward as the ball sailed right through the point in space that was his apex.

I actually thought he might have injured himself it was such an un-athletic looking effort.

His 29 yarder wasn't a thing of beauty either. He twisted and almost fell out of bounds. Has always had trouble adjusting to the ball in the air. Ball skills are pathetic.

Dumping him, which I think we should, would erase Mangini's entire second round of the draft. Three picks that looked a hell of a lot better on draft day. Brings reality to the meaning that the draft is a crap shoot.

Fact is the play was a defining moment in the game and when a team has players good enough to make those plays they start to win. Cards had the playmakers to make the play in the end like Cincy had the playmaker to make the plays in the end.................we don't.

After reading a scouting report on MoMass, I just don't see why this guy was drafted.

It was a really ugly pass by Wallace with no chance of being caught.. but Momass still jumped way early.. it was ugly and I was actually laughing about that on the sideline.

If MoMass didn't have that deceptive rookie season, we probably would have kicked him to the curb w/ Robo except then we wouldn't have any receivers because Shurms forgets about half of the players on this team at any given moment.

We had a pretty good draft, and I'd like to start seeing some results.
Fans already looking to next year and I don't blame them.
I think we will have things to be excited about that we lacked last year and we have some real facepalm moments just like last year.
It's going to be tough.
We aren't Barking Hard for nothing.

From my perspective the ball was thrown way too high. Not many receivers are going to make that catch. I don't disagree with his overall play sucking a-- though.

Agreed. While Momass's spasm was indeed hilarious, that ball was uncatchable anyway, another one of those "Wallace was so crisp!" throws.

LOL!!

I was busy this weekend and didn't get to watch the game, but did manage to catch about 5 minutes of the 4th quarter. Wallace made a throw that had me laughing because it was so weird. He looked spastic or something as he sailed the ball about 20 yds downfield. Only problem was, our closest guy was only about 10 yds out.

That was the ugliest pass I've ever seen...
