I agree with Platinum, when he had a legitimate receiver opposite him, he was allowed to shine because defenses could not forget about Jurevicius. Giving Braylon another try? No thank you. I can't see him coming back to the team, and we already bitch about entitlement issues from other players, it would be a walking disaster waiting to happen.

PASS PASS PASS PASS PASS.

We had a pretty good draft, and I'd like to start seeing some results.
Fans already looking to next year and I don't blame them.
I think we will have things to be excited about that we lacked last year and we have some real facepalm moments just like last year.
It's going to be tough.
We aren't Barking Hard for nothing.

Braylon had a solid 2010 season: 53 catches for 904 yards (17.1 YPC) with 7 TDs and only 4 drops. The problem is that he's too much of a headcase to stick around anywhere for a while.

My desire to kick the tires was more about using Edward Braylon-hands as a deep decoy. Just to have someone on our offense that would draw a look from more than the guy covering him. While he would mentally ruin Greg Little, I think Greg would be a little (ha!) more open on game day with #17 out there. Cribbs might be the only guy on our O that gets a 2nd look when he lines up. Might. But since Tin-foil-hat Shurmur is clueless on how to use him, he is rarely effective.

Of course, we still need a QB that could get either of these guys the ball. Sorry Colt, I like you and your hard work/competitiveness but, have a seat on the bench and mentor the next guy we bring in, thanks.

I'll still never forgive Mike Holmgren for not calling Plaxico Burress and offering him the rest of our cap space and Fed Ex-ing him a replacement for the pistol that was confiscated. With our WR roster, how the fuck do you not give THAT guy a look, Mike? #ass

Yeah it does seem a bit stifling we didn't even give the guy a shot but did Plaxico do all that much this season anyway? Decent, 40 receptions and 8 TD's for over 500 yards. Did any WR on this team have production that comes even close? Greg Little has more receptions and yards but his 2 TD's all year doesn't even come close to Plaxico's 8, in fact. The two players with the most TD's (Evan Moore and Josh Cribbs) who both have four TIES Plaxico's 8 TD's so... that says all it has to.

Even someone like Plaxico could make a difference on this team IMO. I don't think Plaxico's numbers would be any worse than Little's if he was our #1 guy. I don't think Braylon would want to come here and be a role player, that just doesn't strike me as his kind of enviroment. Would I have him back? You know what this season has been depressing enough I would probably take Braylon back even though he pretty much dissed the entire fan base (or was that someone else?)
