Exactly why it would be crazy for us to trade for him. We have more than just 1 hole to fill (QB spot). We have about EIGHT holes to fill. Giving 3-4- 5-6 picks (or however many it actually takes) for a guy filling 1 hole, does not make any sense to me.

He can't block for himself, and he can't catch his own passes, and he cannot tackle the other teams RB. So we would get Luck and have possibly a great QB and still only win 4-5 games a year cuz there is no talent around him.

We have a great opportunity to build a team with all these picks this year (6 picks in the first 4 rounds).. We may be amazed at how good McCoy might be with some actual talent around him. Breeze magically turned into a winner once they added Gates and McCardell. If McCoy doesn't step it up.. Then.... well... I heard a rumor... ..they actually have drafts and free agents EVERY year.. So there will be other QB's.. and they would actually have a real team around them if we use our picks wisely this year to build a team. That's my plan, my opinion..

I know many of you posters say "get Luck whatever it takes".. Luck will still need a team around him in order to actually win games..That is why I say that would be a big mistake. The cost of NOT being able to build the rest of the team, (giving up all those draft picks) is far too heavy.
