Santana Englewood will become famous soon enough
Default Matt Flynn?

Holy crap. 480 and 6 TDs. Maybe it won't be Luck, RG, or Tannehill starting next year in an orange helmet.

I suggested Flynn a few weeks back in that QB thread I started. The kid has always looked good when he has been given time to play. The only problem is its hard to judge him when teams aren't preparing for him and don't have much tape to study him. Still though it impresses more that he can well well against an NFL D more so then a college QB who you have no clue about. I would much rather go the route of a guy like Flynn then a rookie though.

He is a free agent at the right time too :-)

People need to keep in mind that he has been in the nice and tidy GB system and they have slightly better talent, coaching and organizational management.

If we sign Flynn and promise him the starting QB position I might shoot myself.

He's a back-up QB playing in an elite offense, under great coaches in one game, and people want to christen him as our savior. It's all over talk radio. Just kill me now.

I remember Kolb having a few of these type games also.

I need to know more and see more then just taking a one game audition and crowning him a franchise QB of the future.

That said, he'd be my choice over RGIII if he's a UFA and doesn't cost us any picks. But, any QB needs to have some talent around him to be successful and that includes Colt or whomever his replacement may end up being.

Earlier I though we would need to give up a draft pick for him. But he is a free agent. THAT is the kind of QB we need to bring in. Open competition.. enough said. Use the draft picks to bring in playmakers, fix the OL and bolster the D... Oh.. and Heckert.. don't be such a scrooge on the free agents at other spots next offseason. I am thinking the Colts may be thinking the same thing and using that first round pick on something else. I have a feeling..Flynn's value just skyrocketed... Talk about making the most of an opportunity.. WOW.. Just hope it's not Scott Mitchell syndrome ha ha ha.
