If you want to see a BIG Play WR having a BIG day and representing the difference on the scoreboard today - it's Alshon Jeffery.

Remember that Hail Mary pass that Greg Little totally Danny Ferry'd yesterday? The 6'4" Alshon Jeffery just out jumped 7 guys for the rainbow his QB threw up. Yes folks, this stuff happens with regularity OUTSIDE of the Cleveland Browns. BTW, those of us (especially me) worried about his ability to separate at the next level can exhale. He is being covered by a projected 1st round corner (Dennard) today. He has responded with 4 receptions for 148 yards and 1 TD in just the first half.

It looked like Dennard was the kid throwing the punches and all Jeffery did was push him to defend himself. Oh well!

Didn't AJ have a sub par year? I hope if we are drafting a WR in the 1st round it's a guy who comes to play every day, every down ...not just when the lights are the brightest.

I think if you read about the troubles the starting QB (Garcia) continued to find himself in off the field - it will explain the rollercoaster ride their passing game had working around his suspensions, benchings and hot and cold performances. They were pretty unpredictable this year because of a lot of that.

Admittedly I don't know the surrounding circumstances. Seems like I read Jeffery also is a step slow for a #1 WR, and we really need a burner. But what do I know at this point in the year. (not much)
