Yeah we gotta wait for the window to open to sign the contracts but nothing can stop us from talking to players (we probably would have to ask for permission until they become official free agents).

IF we could sway a guy like Tracy Porter to play opposite Joe Haden, that would be a dream corner pairing IMO. I think replacing Sheldon Brown is a priority.

BROWNS 2012: Its Weeden's job to lose, it was the second we took him #22 overall.
We had a pretty good draft, and I'd like to start seeing some results.
Fans already looking to next year and I don't blame them.
I think we will have things to be excited about that we lacked last year and we have some real facepalm moments just like last year.
It's going to be tough.
We aren't Barking Hard for nothing.
WOOF WOOF WOOF!

With the physical division we play in, call me crazy, but I wouldn't mind this kind of intensity going against Baltimore and Pittsburgh

Haden already plays with a chip on his shoulder. Would love to see this against Pittsburgh twice a year.

The Bengals got a bunch of free agents last year.. So how does a loser like Cinci do that????.. Something that we will have to do also, if we want free agents to come... OVERPAY THEM. It sucks, but that's about the only way a loser can do it.

ill pass on the cap hell scenario, myself.

as i put in the FA thread, stools are 20mil over the cap and will be forced to let people go. its nice for the few years you have them, but one would hope that comes along with a chance to make the post season.

im not sure we're there yet....
