With so many high quality free agents and our backups being decent (with Brandon Jackson's return).. I don't want to spend a draft pick on a RB. Free agency is the way to roll. Michael Tolbert would be a great pick that does not break the bank who has power and catches well. We could roll with him for 3 years and the backups we have easily.

It would be hard to imagine us not drafting a RB.

It's a good draft for RBs this year. A few excellent first rounders and a lot of very good 3rd to 5th rounders to be had.

The life of a RB in the NFL is limited and that alone scares me looking at them in FA. A lot of those guys are looking for their one big contract and their present team has elected not to give them one for some reason.

Oh so true. How many times have decent to good RB's been let go and they dont even hold on to another team? To many times. One day you have it and literally then next day you dont with that position.

After watching the Senior Bowl, I feel even better about mentioning Pead a week ago. The reason he caught my eye in the first place was what he did to Vanderbilt in the Bowl Game. The only BIG knock against him is he only weighed in at 193 pounds the week of Senior Bowl practices.
