There is no reason to bring in Kevin Kolb, to compete or otherwise. Kolb was the heir apparent to the QB job in Philadelphia, the franchise QB in waiting. Like McCoy. he was given the job, as the Eagles said good bye to Donovan McNabb. Kolb was terrible, was outplayed by Michael Vick, and sulked at the possibility of being a back-up. Kolb signed a one-year contract extension worth $12.25 million on April 29, keeping him in Philadelphia through the 2011 season. How they made the comparison of his situation, to that of Aaron Rodgers, is beyond me. It was clear that the Eagles were better with Vick, than Kolb, be it short term, or long term, they came to the conclusion in one season of Kolb being the starter, that he wasn't the future. Kolb was traded to the Arizona Cardinals on July 28, 2011, in exchange for cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and a second-round draft pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. Kolb has since been outplayed in Arizona by John Skelton, and his numbers, are most similar to those of McCoy, which is terrible. Kolb had a good receiving corp, led by Larry Fitzgerald, who was healthy this year, and not the previous year, when Anderson, and a revolving door was at the QB position. He also had a healthy Beenie Wells, who ran for over 1000 yards this year, and less than 400 in the previous year. Kevin Kolb has another March roster bonus due in 2013. It's a $2 million roster bonus, less than Kolb's $7M bonus due on March 17 of 2012. Its been suggested that the Cardinals will pay Kolb's upcoming bonus, and make a decision on him next offseason. It would give the organization a full offseason and 16 more games to evaluate the $65 million quarterback. Kolb looked like a complete bust in 2011. The Browns should have no interest in Kevin Kolb, or Matt Flynn. Kolb looked average with the better WR's in Phili Schaub looked average in ATL before being an injury prone IR candidate...but for all his stats, look at the WR's he is throwing to in Houston. Matt Flynn looked great in one game with some of the best WR's in the league. NONE of them would do CRAP with the WR's we have here in Cleveland (and that includes RGIII and McCoy as well). PERIOD. Sorry, but all these rumors of QB's coming to Cleveland should be taken with a grain of salt...or maybe a truckload. Unless the Browns go hog wild on WR's in the draft and or FA, forget about them bringing another top notch guy in. It just wouldn't make sense to sacrifice another potential QB. Look at it this way. If we go out and get some top notch WR's and McCoy bombs, we are still in line for a top notch QB. If we go out and get a QB now, he will end up shell shocked just like every other QB we have ever had since the return.

No thanks, Colt looked just as good if not better with less to work with. I'd lose every ounce of faith I have left in the personal department if they brought in that flop.
