Our roster is stronger than when Mangini was here, and with two first round picks and judging from our last two drafts, the roster will be even stronger this year. Nobody could have taken that team to a superbowl in just two years, and the injuries haven't helped in any way. I think the 2012 team can be big improvers and with the coaching staff we've hired they can make the plays and players get to a new level.

Our roster was filled with aging backups when Mangina was here...We need Wr's and O-line help in the worst way

Hmm... Another 4-5 win season, expect the fan backlash to be HUGE and Planet Holmgren will finally be on the hot seat where it deserves to be, honestly. North of 6-7 wins shows PROGRESS and people will start to breath.

Fans already looking to next year and I don't blame them. I think we will have things to be excited about that we lacked last year and we have some real facepalm moments just like last year. It's going to be tough. We aren't Barking Hard for nothing. WOOF WOOF WOOF! ![]() |

If they draft well and if we actually dip into FA this off-season will help. Also I hope, for the fan's sake, that Shurmur's play calling last year was due to having no talent and not his usual play calling. If these things get improved upon than I bet we will see progress above this year. If not... then it is going to get ugly around Cleveland.

You're in it waist deep at that point, so you pretty much have to commit to Shurms and leave everything intact. That is why some were saying to can his ass this last season rather than wait any longer, but now you pretty much have to stick with the continuity path. If they get this draft and FA right, they should be able to hit 500 or better while letting McCoy continue to grow with better personnel.
