I am wondering if we will get a compensatory pick this year.. Eric Wright initially had a 2nd round tender.. but I don't know if we lost enough to qualify.. It would be nice to get ANY additional pick.

There's quite a few places this info can be found but this is a good one for those of us who can't really follow it year round: In the first round picks 4 and 22* (from Atlanta). In the 2nd round pick 5. In the 3rd round pick 4. In the 4th round picks 5 and 23* (from Atlanta). In the 5th round pick 4. In the 6th round pick 5. & In the 7th pick 4. Free agency and draft day trades could see all of that changing a lot. For some of us who never knew or forgot. Mike Holmgren has a long standing uninterrupted personal trend regarding draft choices. He's never been involved in the selection of any quarterback in the first or second round of the NFL draft. Ever. Personally, I expect it to continue. We did see a QB slide to the third round two years ago and he did personally tell his GM to grab him. If it happens in the third round again, I won't be too surprised.

Bumping this one just to remind every one where the Browns' picks are at before any trades.
