"Shep" (just another guy on a message board) has an opinion.:
"I was not a huge Colt McCoy fan going into the draft. I thought the Browns should take Clausen.
When they passed on him at 38, I literally crapped myself and threw up at the same time."

I am wondering if we will get a compensatory pick this year.. Eric Wright initially had a 2nd round tender.. but I don't know if we lost enough to qualify.. It would be nice to get ANY additional pick.

Default The Browns Picks (Before any Trades)

There's quite a few places this info can be found but this is a good one for those of us who can't really follow it year round:

In the first round picks 4 and 22* (from Atlanta).
In the 2nd round pick 5.
In the 3rd round pick 4.
In the 4th round picks 5 and 23* (from Atlanta).
In the 5th round pick 4.
In the 6th round pick 5.
& In the 7th pick 4.

Free agency and draft day trades could see all of that changing a lot.

For some of us who never knew or forgot. Mike Holmgren has a long standing

uninterrupted personal trend regarding draft choices. He's never been involved in the

selection of any quarterback in the first or second round of the NFL draft. Ever.

Personally, I expect it to continue. We did see a QB slide to the third round two years

ago and he did personally tell his GM to grab him. If it happens in the third round again,

I won't be too surprised.

Because CLE and TB had the same record. While the strength of schedule gives CLE the 4th in the first, they and TB flip flop all the rest of the rounds because of having the same record.

Bumping this one just to remind every one where the Browns' picks are at before any trades.
