Let's be clear: You sound like a doofus when you try to condescend to someone like me and you know it. I need the board but you don't? How would that make any sense? Do you ever type stuff like that and just do a spit take at your own screen? And don't hide behind the notion that you "don't get along with" me and MZ. We don't toss out the unprovoked attacks... you do. We don't have issues... YOU do. Just you. I play nice with you just as long as you're on your meds, then you crack again. Just give it up already. You always come out looking retarded and, hopefully, ashamed of yourself. Just be a guy on the board, debating, agreeing, disagreeing, engaging in some goodnatured chickenshitting. But you always go dark and nasty and serious. Always have. You need to let go of all that, man. It's never going to work in any civilized setting. You never make any points, you never illuminate anything... you just keep revealing some insecurity issue regarding me and now MZ, too. |

Well, yes, I'm quite fond of me. The only benefit to not actually being me would be that I'd get to know me. So in a way, I'm jealous of all of you. I'm actually riddled with self doubt. Kidding. I really do dig everything about me. Kidding. I'm actually... Veg is a turd by any name and a cancer on any board. He's just a mean, loathsome prick and sometimes I'm not in the mood to pretend he isn't an inferior life form. |

Updated 4/15 7. Cleveland Browns: Eric Berry, S, Tennessee I mocked Jimmy Clausen here on Tuesday, but the more I thought about it since then, the more I realized that it's not Mike Holmgren's style to pick Clausen. Clausen is clearly the right choice for the Browns, but my goal is to predict what teams will do instead of what they should do. Holmgren has never spent a first-round pick on a quarterback. There's a reason for this. Like Bill Walsh, Holmgren firmly believes that he can take "inferior" quarterbacks and make them into really proficient passers. These "inferior" signal-callers don't have to possess a great or even a very good arm; they just need to make quick decisions, and be accurate in the short and the intermediate passing game. Clausen could absolutely thrive in Holmgren's offense, but I don't think Holmgren would be willing to spend the No. 7 overall pick on the Notre Dame product - even if he is the top quarterback prospect in this class. While Holmgren has never used a first-round pick on a quarterback, he has spent several opening-round selections on defensive backs. If Eric Berry is available, I think we can add him to the list. The Browns don't have much at safety, and unlike the Seahawks, they don't have tons of needs that would preclude them from adding a top-three prospect in this class, even if he plays a position of lesser value. Other 2010 NFL Draft Possibilities: 1. Jimmy Clausen, QB - The right pick for the Browns, but one I don't think they're going to make. 2. Joe Haden, CB - Cleveland traded for Sheldon Brown, but he's 31 years old. He doesn't have much time of high productivity remaining in this league, and could be moved to free safety this year. 38. Cleveland Browns: Colt McCoy, QB, Texas Colt McCoy is a short Kyle Orton clone, but he may be the quarterback that Mike Holmgren wants. McCoy is accurate in the short and intermediate passing game, and Holmgren may see some Joe Montana in him. That's crazy, but then again so is giving Jake Delhomme $7 million. 71. Cleveland Browns: Jason Worilds, DE/OLB, Virginia Tech The Browns just traded for Chris Gocong, but according to Terry Pluto of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Cleveland sees Gocong as more of an inside linebacker. If so, then rush linebacker is still a major need in the wake of the Kamerion Wimbley trade. 85. Cleveland Browns: Perrish Cox, CB/KR, Oklahoma State The Browns traded for Sheldon Brown, but they still need depth at corner. Plus, Brown is 31 and won't last forever. 92. Cleveland Browns: Taylor Price, WR, Ohio Cleveland needs offensive playmakers. Brady Quinn struggled last year with his deep accuracy, but it's hard to put all of the blame on him because his top targets were Evan Moore, Mohamed Massaquoi and Mike Furrey. 134. Cleveland Browns: Sam Young, OT, Notre Dame The Browns signed Tony Pashos, but he's hardly a long-term solution at right tackle. I don't even think he's the short-term answer. 146. Cleveland Browns: Riley Cooper, WR, Florida The Chiefs and Browns apparently think that owning a billion fifth-round picks is the key to NFL domination. At any rate, more than one wideout is needed to optimize Cleveland's pedestrian offense. 160. Cleveland Browns: C.J. Wilson, DE/DT, East Carolina With Corey Williams gone, the Browns could use some help behind Shaun Rogers and Robaire Smith. Pick change; previously Jeff Byers, C/G 177. Cleveland Browns: Jeff Byers, C/G, USC The Browns lost both Hank Fraley and Rex Hadnot this offseason, so offensive line depth must be replenished. 186. Cleveland Browns: Travis Goethel, ILB, Arizona State Because Chris Gocong is unproven in the 3-4, Scott Fujita is old, and Eric Barton isn't very good. http://walterfootball.com/draft2010.php

In theory, I think a lot of that fits. - I think the Browns will take a QB and a DB in the first two picks. - I think the Browns will take S or CB in round 3, whatever they didn't get in 1 or 2. - I think the Browns will take a fast WR in round 3. - I think the other 3rd round pick goes to front 7 or right side blocker. Best value. - That leaves the three fives for whatever we didn't get. Should be some value there. |

Cleveland Browns: Jamar Chaney, ILB, Mississippi State The Browns just traded for Chris Gocong, and according to general manager Tom Heckert, Gocong will be used at outside linebacker.
