Well, it's always been my opinion successful teams mix going after players they want and BPA when needed, it's not 100% the either/or it is made out to be.

I've heard Heckert speak of this (when discussing drafting BPA vs. Need). He has said "if you have people graded the same, then you draft for need (from that group)...that's logical" - something like that.

Yeah, I think the idea that it's one or the other is a fan myth. It's a bit of both.

Absolutely, Heckert and Reid are/were solid at mixing both. That's why i'm stoked, Heckert knows how to do just that VERY well.
