McDonald may not even make the team. I suspect Mangini will go to his own players he has helped draft since his arrival.

I suspect Brown will play safety, and Adams will be the nickel, with Brown moving to the slot in those situations. He played a lot of slot in Philly in 3 WR sets.

not flashy but lets think of what a very solid secondary allows the front seven to do.
Ryan is probably taking a cold shower after thinking of the schemes he can come up with in the front seven now. A lot of defensive players on the Browns can play multiple positions and confuse the opposition with different blitzs.
Brown can move to safety as B Mc should be able to hold down the fort in the slot or go to fourth if CF or someone else wins that spot in camp. Wright and Haden can be trusted with support from Brown and Elam can do what he does best and cover as little as possible. LOL

There are multiple linebackers who can move inside and out and Rogers is not necessarily the best nose on the team so can be transitioned between end and Tackle.

The addition of a strong corner makes the entire D better IMHO. Not necessarily the pick I would have made but trying to make some lemonaid.

Wasn't a fan when it was mocked months ago, not a fan of it now. Just my opinion.

The League has gone to a passing league, that's why many people stress Offense, but we have to llok at the other end, H3 has always drafted CB's early. We know Mangini probably didn't disagree.

Look, I love the Browns and I'd love to love their pick. I don't. I think we'll take a ton of shit on this one.

great player..just not the sexy pick.. I like it.. No QB.. especially no clauson who whiffed in the 1st round. I hate that he might be there in round 2.. People can give us all the crap in the world.. When he makes plays for the next "x" amount of years..they will have to shut up..

I am hoping that Golden Tate falls to us and we can get Him..

Nothing has changed in our discussions on Haden since we first discussed Haden. He's the best CB in the draft.

Does that mean he'll end up being the best pro? Of course not.

But you draft the guy you like best at the time. You pay for the ability to develop the player.

It's a solid pick with huge upside.

He's a starter. That's a good beginning.
