Default WR

Damn we really need a good WR.

We are really really hurting in that area.

Do we dare sign TO? I hate the guy but Delhomme throwing him the ball would not be a bad thing, have Momass athe the number two and Robo in the slot? I dont know but we need someone.

I feel bad for Delhomme. Does he really have a chance with these wr's?

The Browns do not agree with you. They may bring in a veteren to help with depth and schooling, but TO's of the world aren't coming here.

We can all hope and pray that our two rookies from last year improve quite a bit from season 1 to 2. I think they will. Our offense should look leaps and bounds ahead of where it did last year ...and I gotta say no to TO. He's probably going to the Redskins isn't he, or did that fizzle out?

I also believe that Cribbs is going to see a ton more action at WR ....I really saw improvement from him as the year progressed. We WILL NOT be last in the league in offense again ...book it. (I hope)

If we need a really good WR...why would we bring TO in? Didn't we just ship out a me first tall, athletic one that can't catch?

Exactly WebDog - TO is an older Braylon Edwards with even more team cancer potential.

I wouldn't worry too much

They are probably looking for suitable Wide Receiver over next few months, and Jake should be able to pass the ball better than DA/BQ

If we are still in trouble we have Joshua Cribbs or a running game.

Now look. Ive never liked TO at all. But he is way better than Edwards. He can still be productive and he is tall and physical. He played in Buffalo last year and they were as bad as us in the passing game. I think for Delhomme it would be a good thing.

But in now way do I think Mangini, Heckert and Holmgren do it, Im just looking for some kind of scenario out there. Is anyone going to get cut?

you answered your own question. What exactly did TO do to elevate Buffalo's passing game? and if you tell me that Delhomme is that much better than the QBs in Buffalo, then our recievers we have should be fine also.

Yes the QB's in Buffalo are worse. Hell I think they were worse then DA and Brady Quinn. When Fitzpatrick is throwing you the ball do you really have a chance? The other dude is a bum. Whats his name again? Edwards? No doubt Delhomme is better. Delhomme will have a decent year, mark it down. I would take TO, even though I hate him and everything that he is about because we are screwed at that position. Will this 18th round guy start next year? Hes a 4 year project that might be good but what about now?

Reportedly, McNabb never said anything about getting T.O. And if he did, Shanahan nixed it.

I saw no improvement in Cribbs at WR, and as the year progressed, his opportunities at WR decreased. I think we'll see more Cribbs, but it's gonna be from the WC, not at WR.

Oh, and good god hell no to TO. This team is trying to get better, not worse.
