Ram...firmly disagree! Safety picks ward and assante are Awesome....Finally! Ward will be in the pro-bowl conversation if he stays healthy and assante is a very solid player. Both those guys should be starters next year...ward this year.

Based on what? So you're are telling me that you would rather have Ward then a Golden Tate (have you seen our WR depth?), Sergio Kindle, Jimmy Clausen just to name a few? Not me.

I dont think we can start Elam and Ward together, makes no sense. I think they both ride on the pine this year. Wahooooooooo, great picks.

Asante is a 5th round pick people. He isn't going to start, maybe NEVER start for the Browns.

I don't see why Elam and Ward can't start together.

I'm with Solon on this. It's part of rebuilding the right way. They shored the defensive backfield this year and can work on shoring up other areas in the future. I don't see what the issue is.

Based on my watching ward for the last three years. I would rather have Golden Tate. But I love that we have a real safety in ward. He will not ride the pine...I'll bet you...Adams and ward will be starters...Elam off the bench. Assante Will start foor the Browns...just not this year...WORD!

I'd rather see Ward and Adams. Elam is one of the reasons we had to go out and draft 2 safeties. Sorry, but he sucks. He couldn't cover my mother and is constantly out of position so his run support sucks also.

I think he's a special teamer, at best and if we clear camp with everyone healthy, I'd release his ass. Some might not think Asante can start in this league but I think he could step in and be better then Elam right now. And I'm not overvaluing Asante, I just don't think much of Elam at all.

+1! I completely agree Y-Town! Elam is one of the worst safeties I have ever seen. He is always out of position on almost every play. He's gonna be 29 years old this year and at some point you are who you are as a player. Your not gonna improve and you have peaked.
