Dan's got a point but I have to agree with Solon and PB&J...Cribbs ain't no WR. At least not based on what we saw last year. I s'pose he could have been working on it and there may still be a plan.

Did anyone else notice that during the draft when they were showing depth they kept showing Cribbs as our #1WR??? Could be everyone else is seeing something we're not.

I can't see us starting a rookie with questionable ball skills and below average sideline-to-sideline coverage to the centerfield role of free safety. I'm not sure Elam's a fit for it either, but we need one of the vet's to play free safety and maybe the rookie starts at strong safety.

I switched Robiskie with Cribbs (to start opposite of MoMass), on the Depth Chart. Let's hope Robo comes on this year, starting in training camp.

I absolutely believe the plan is to start both MoMass and Robo, with Fancy Chansi in the slot. Unless a really good young vet becomes available somehow, and Cribbs will be utilized better in the WCO elements.

I have a new favorite, and he is Carlton Mitchell. I friended him on FB and am going to keep track of him, but this kid is a lot more than a Glue Hands Hubbard type IMO. He is definitely a worker with the right attitude, and his physique is incredible. I think we may have found a gem if he can catch the ball with somewhat consistency. Get a load of this guy:

If he sets the world on fire and catches nearly everything thrown his way, than I'll need to take a cold shower. But not yet for me.

The liked Cribbs somewhere at WR because it helped disguise the WC. But he might not be as bad at WR with a decent QB. Look man those QBs were the worst ever. Ever.

That's a good point Vegas. If Robo is "not to be found" or he's splitting time with Cribbs, I could see alot of Wild Cat Formations used.

Somebody else, in another thread, mentioned how the Browns are modeled "a little like Miami". Well, Miami used the WC a ton.

I'm not holding my breathe on our newly drafted WR. I would loved to be surprised though.

Even with bad QB play, it was painfully obvious Josh can't run routes, or break them off based on what the D dictates. There is a reason that the last several weeks of the season Josh was not starting at WR and saw his time there dwindle.

Dan, thanks for putting this together.

Couple of things I like: Gocong & Roth at the OLBs. Vickers/ Hillis taking on a FB/HB/TE role.

Dont like: Joe Haden behind Sheldon Brown. I think Brown will be in the safety role for us and with our 3 corners on the field scheme that MH & EM have alluded to I just think it seems like a better fit. TJ Ward could start to infringe on Elam's playing time, imo.
Our WR's. Holy shit.

If John St. Clair makes the team, I'll kick a puppy.

Thanks Leg.

I do think Haden will be the starter BUT, since he is a Rookie, I have him behind Vet Sheldon Brown until he works his way up in camp/pre-season.

We have rookie contracts to be signed (hopefully no holdouts) and we have to see who Haden may replace.

I updated the Depth Chart to reflect our new DB.
