I PROMISE you if we break that sandlot nonsense out with Pollyneedsahaircut in their lineup - we're gonna learn the difference pretty quickly.

People are complaining about yanking carries from Harrison as it is and we just drafted one of the most explosive RBs in the draft to share the load. Why NOT put Cribbs in the slot Adam?

Because, unless he's learned to play WR recently, he is WAY better running the Wildcat. He simply hasn't proven to be a good WR yet; he's a fabulous player otherwise...let's use him where he is at his best (Wildcat, RB, KR).

I agree that Cribb's strengths are NOT at Wide Reciever. I'm not trying to dismiss Cribbs' ability at wide out because he HAS made plays for us at that position. I just think that he would be better suited to other venues. I don't think it's worth it to put a ton of stock into the Wildcat(and similar) formation, it's something I see defensive minds working to counter after it's busted out the past couple of seasons.

Cribbs is not strictly a wildcat guy. But guaranteed they're thinking of ways we can put this guy on the field and use him a number of different ways, not purely as one dimension as a slot reciever or a wildcard back or anything like that. If they do that, it was mentioned in another thread the possibility of him not returning punts next year. I think if he finds himself in an increased role in the offense, he won't be returning punts next year.

I don't see Cribbs as even our slot reciever. MoMass then Stuckey/Robo depending on who impresses more. Cribbs will serve a higher purpose... offensive catalyst. Someone to keep defenses on their toes. The kind of player that when he's on the field you don't know what to expect. That's how I'd like to see JC used.
