I think Gocong will be ahead of D'Quell at RILB

I think Gocong, Roth, Jackson, and Fujita all start. Just don't know where yet. After that, I think Bowens is next, frankly. I'm not sure Barton makes the team. We got a lot better when Bowens took over in the middle.

I think Roth and Gocong will be the OLBs, Gocong will take over on the weak side where Wimbley used to play. Inside I think it will be Fujita and DQ, Fujita playing the TED.

That's how I see it. I just don't think they got Gocong or Fujita to be backups, nobody wants to see Roth sit, and DQJ is really good... if he's all mended.

I personally would start Rubin at the nose, Rogers at one end, and John Henderson at the other. DOH! Try to move that group around.

Then I'd start Brown and Ward at safety, Haden and Wright at corner.

Just me, or would Gocong, Rubin, Rogers, and Roth be a good 4-3 DL? I know Fujita and DQJ are good 4-3 LBs. Just need one more.

I gotta admit, I'm kind of clueless how backer will go and it may change a lot. Again Shep, you left off our best backer last year in Bowens. I found it funny when the niks kept inferring we needed backers, how the hell many we need? DQJ may never see the field in Brown and Orange again, I have that feeling.

I love Bowens... didn't I say I see him as the fifth guy if Gocong, Fujita, DQJ, and Roth start? He can play any of the four positions and would definitely be in on a lot of snaps.

I thought the D got a lot better when he stepped in... but I can't see anyone from Fujita, Gocong, or Roth sitting down. And DQJ is a guy who can cover, someone a bit smaller and quicker than the other three.

I think Gocong will really flourish as a 3-4 pass rusher, just like Roth.

I have to admit, after putting this together, my major questions are about where Fujita & Gocong line up. And, as Solon points out, where does Veikune go??
