Yeah, I don't see the playoffs until we turn our attention to the pass offense next offseason.
I thought the SAME THING when I posted HIS article/blog. I was thinking that it would be VERY HARD (if not impossible) to make the Playoffs at 7-9.

The way I read it ways that Mangini will go 7-9 and get canned and holmgren will come in a be coach and take us to the playoffs...atleast that is what came to mind

If we play really well on defense but not on offense (virtually a self-fulfilling prophecy), I could see Daboll being replaced by a Walsh/Holmgren WCO guy who gets a true #1 WR and a ready-to-go Colt McCoy.

But Mangini and Ryan would continue. Or Ryan would take over as head coach.

Who might that replacement be? ( Only guy that comes to mind alot is , Zorn( btw what's his current contract?)
Ryan being promoted to HC doesn't sound off the charts, many people predict that "IF" our defense improves , he's on radar for a promo. (and leaving the Browns)
Keeping Mangini and Ryan and gettin a new OC to me is the most likely move .(again "IF" daboll sux completely again)

I feel like he's set up to fail, almost. Worst set of WRs in football (at least in the rankings on, I believe, CBS Sportsline) and Jake Delhomme at QB?

We had someone we were discussing last year and I can't recall. Maybe it was Zorn, but I thought it was some other WCO dude.

Yeah, I think there's some douchebag on him. He was sort of shitty to Quinn.
