As for Bryant: he's extremely talented. He doesn't have the long speed to run the top off of defenses, but he's very explosive off the line (when he knows the ball's heading his way), is physical and a powerful blocker (when he gives effort), and has very strong hands (when he's focused and properly secures the ball).

But his rookie camp is a testament to the risk/reward gamble that he is for the Cowboys: he was out of shape, ended up hurt, and brought along with him a bizarre controversy. But he looked great in limited snaps - let's see if he can do it consistently in game action.

Clauson is not unseating a guy (Moore) who won his last 4 starts.. This is a team they feel can go to the playoffs.. It's a contract year for the coach.. No way he starts a rookie. Clausen even sniffs at rookie of they year..... and my jockstrap will be bronzed and in the hall of fame.

The best way to find out whether these draft prospects are any good is to watch a lot of college football.

Heck's an Ole Miss fan and watches more of them than any of us. It's not surprising, then, that he expressed some Snead skepticism early in the season when people here were talking about him being a top ten guy. Or that he correctly predicted that the guy wouldn't get drafted.

All of the media information is helpful if you know how to sift through the bullshit, but you can't let it be the primary basis for your opinions on how good guys are. Same thing with YouTube highlight reels.

You've got to watch these guys play.
