Man, Kyle Wilson is a bust.

First-round pick Kyle Wilson saw most of his reps with the second team or lined up over the slot in nickel packages. On one of Wilson’s few plays with the first team he got beat by Jerricho Cotchery on a fade route to the corner of the endzone, failing to turn his head in time to defend the pass. His inability to read opposing receivers’ eyes and locate the football was one of the few knocks on Wilson coming out of Boise State and it showed on more than one occasion during this practice.

He was very fluid in coverage otherwise but will need to improve his ball skills to fend off Dwight Lowery, who looked great and intercepted multiple passes down the field.
