Well, at least it kills that "bleeding-heart peacenick liberals are just like genocidal fascists" campaign. It was already laughable, but this REALLY moves the spotlight!

You do realize you're talking to a part Jew, right? It's not exactly funny comparing a state upholding the fucking law to millions of people being executed in gas chambers.
I'm in L.A. All of my friends' are Jewish, and not part. And they say just what I said about that law. Which is understandable, given the whole notion of forgetting the past and being doomed to repeat it.

They Nazis weren't the first or the last to make minorities carry "papers."

It's something new to talk about. I mean, how many times can we talk about Colt McCoy's arm strength? Might as well look at a couple other guys and see how their skill sets differ.

And it's not just QBs. If anyone wants to talk about the top 3-4 DEs in next year's draft, I'm more than game. We pretty much already know who the good guys are: this time last year, I was boring you all with talk about a big man with an unpronounceable first name and a three letter last name.

I get that, I do. It's just at this time of the year I'm looking forward to the beginning of Sept, not the middle of next April.

I'll come up with some new topics to kick around. Colt's arm strength won't be one of them...

Yeah, but the draft process doesn't really start in April. It begins with the start of the college football season, about a week before the NFL season starts.

Found a ton of him running though. If you wanna see a whiteboy run like Deebo from Friday is chasing his lily white ass with a muthafuckin' stiffy hit me up. The kid can run like a motherfucker, no joke. Plus he reportedly has a howitzer for an arm.

#2: Ryan Mallet. For now anyways. I'll toss us up some clips soon. The kid has a rocket arm. We're talking R-O-C-K-E-T. Apollo 13 type stuff. I heard NASA is interested in checking that shit out. Rumor from a cheerleader who'se fucking a kid on the wrestling team whose sister gave a blowjob to the cornerback is Mallet can launch a 100 yard bomb. Definitely interested.

#3: Andrew Luck. Horseballs. HORSE-BALLS people. Another rocket arm. Dude launches balls like a canon launches a canonball. BOOM! I'll get some vids off of him in youtube and see what the experts say about him soon. Same with Mallet.

#4: Christian Ponder. He has a nice ass. He also throws a gorgeous ball and has a perfect tan. Err, uhh, his arms kinda weak. I've watched a bit of his plays(alot, actually) and he seems to max out at about 40 yards from what i've seen. Not good. You're not gonna make it in the NFL if you can only pass 40 yards downfield, let's face facts here you gotta get 60-80 yards downfield a majority of the time.
Nice work up KoK!

Case Keenum out of Houston isn't on anyone's radar for some reason. I know he had a miserable outing late in the year but he averaged over 400 passing yards per game. And it wasn't for Jack Pardee so we can forget the references to David Klingler and Andre Ware. Seems like a WCO QB candidate for somebody that won't need to trade away their 22 starters to move up and sniff a Locker.

I'm open to seeing things differently after watching a lot of him this fall, but I don't think Case Keenum is a starting NFL QB. Limited arm strength, poor downfield accuracy, and some occasionally wretched decision-making will hurt him come draft day.

He may end up being a 5th/6th rounder, like Colt Brennan and Dan LeFevour.

Hell, I don't mind talking anything related to college or pro football. And remember:

- First I was a Couch pumper.
- Then I was too crazy about Aaron Rodgers and Shawne Merriman.
- Then I was too into Leinart and not into Young enough.
- Then I bashed Frye too much.
- Then I was a Quinn Fag.
- Then I liked DQJ too much.
- Then I was too into free agent corners and WRs.
- Then I was a pickle for Clausen.
- Then I dug Dez too much.
- Then I hated the Haden pick too much.
- Then I discussed McCoy's arm strength too much.

When you start lining up the list of The Only Thing I Talk About... you start realizing I talk about everything too much.

(I got the feeling Heck was about five minutes from posted this but I got tired of waiting.)

You hated Jason Campbell more than Chuck Frye.

When I looked back at the archives, you had a post that said, "Here's my top four QBs (of the '05 class): Alex Smith, Aaron Rodgers, Charlie Frye, Andrew Walter."

But a lot of board members were really high on Chuck Frye.

The kid from Akron - Nicely. Where is he from? I played with Rich and Mike Nicely and I think South had a kid named Nicely (same family) playing QB.

That family is uber, UBER talented. There fathers/uncles were off the charts, too. Wondering if that is the same Nicely as this QB.

I remember in the National Championship game in Orlando FL (yes flag) where we were down by a TD late. Rich made this catch for a TD down the right sideline for about 35 yards. Completely stretched out and fingertipped with his elbows over the GL. Then he goes to defense and we're tied up. 3:00 mins left and this QB that always gave us fits is driving and pinging us for 10 yards a pop. Gets all the way down to our 5 with the scored tied. Attempts one more shot in the EZ on quick hitter and Richie picks it to the house. Game over. Natl Champs. First time in forever we beat that team. Of course it came down to two Cleveland area teams. Always did. Wow I forgot about that memory.

Hijack over. Carry on.

I was, I'll admit.
And a big part of that was watching him win with no talent around him at the University of Akron (I lived close at the time, made quite a few games Frye's last year as a Zip). I was honestly impressed with the kid's heart and drive and thought he'd be decent if he were given enough time and a proper qb coach.
Mike got a hold of him in Seattle and he turned into a marginal backup, even beating out #1 overall qb Jfat (ok, so maybe that's not so impressive, Rich Gannon could have even if he still had the halo on).
I was wrong on him, and the biggest part of that wrong was overlooking obvious flaws because I wanted to see the local boy be our next Kosar.
I think I was more critical on Quinn because he wasn't a guy that I went out of my way to see his games, but still wanted him to work out. I think my biggest positive on Quinn was "checks down fast and he isn't DA."
I'd love to see Jake take off and be our guy, but I'm a realist, I'll take a few decent seasons of holding down the fort till we find our guy.
