| 2011 NBA Mock Draft Updated: April 9, 2011 1. Cleveland Cavaliers: Derrick Williams, PF, Arizona, 6-9, So. Derrick Williams, Kyrie Irving or Harrison Barnes? That is the question surrounding the No. 1 pick. Williams should be able to play either forward spot in the NBA, and his all-around versatility gives him the edge over Barnes and Irving. 8. Cleveland Cavaliers: Brandon Knight, PG, Kentucky, 6-3, Fr. The Cavaliers own this pick via the Mo Williams/Baron Davis trade. Go here to see all of the outstanding 2011 NBA Draft Trades. The Cavs have Baron Davis and Ramon Sessions at the point, but neither player is a long-term solution. Brandon Knight's stock is soaring after a great NCAA Tournament, and he would be nice building block in Cleveland. 31. Cleveland Cavaliers: Josh Selby, G, Kansas, 6-2, Fr. Josh Selby is extremely talented, but he's a combo guard who does not have a true position in the NBA. He is worth the risk at this point for the Cavs. WalterFootball.com: 2011 NBA Mock Draft

| 2011 NBA Mock Draft Updated: April 16, 2011. 2. Cleveland Cavaliers: Derrick Williams, PF, Arizona, 6-9, So. In this scenario, the Cavaliers settle for whomever the Timberwolves do not pick. Derrick Williams should be able to play either forward spot in the NBA due to his all-around versatility. Again, if Harrison Barnes turns pro, he would likely be the pick here instead of Williams. 8. Cleveland Cavaliers: Alec Burks, SG, Colorado, 6-6, So. The Cavaliers own this pick via the Mo Williams/Baron Davis trade. Go here to see all of the outstanding 2011 NBA Draft Trades. The Cavs need to add some talent on the wing and Alec Burks gives them that since they did not address it with their earlier pick. He is dynamic off the bounce but will need to shoot the ball better when he gets to the NBA. 32. Cleveland Cavaliers: Jeremy Tyler, PF, USA, 6-10, 1991 With their third pick of the 2011 NBA Draft, the Cavaliers can afford to roll the dice on an intriguing prospect like Jeremy Tyler. | 2011 NBA Draft Scouting Report: Alec Burks Position: Shooting Guard Size: 6-6, 185 School: Colorado, Sophomore Strengths: Creating his own shot Attacking the basket Absorbing contact and still finishing Body control in the lane Athleticism Explosive at the rim Dangerous in the open floor Free throw shooter Length Good passer Weaknesses: Inconsistent outside shooter Needs to get stronger Putting a body on a body on the defensive glass Plays out of control, over-dribbles too often Spends too much time on the defensive end watching Summary: The 2011 NBA Draft has a fair amount of combo guards who are first-round prospects, but Alec Burks is the best pure shooting guard in of this class. That obviously makes him a hot commodity and should have him in lottery discussions. Player Comparison: Evan Turner. Obviously Burks was not as dominant at the college level as Turner, but they are both players who are more effective when the ball is in their hands when they are trying to create, whether it is for themselves or for teammates. Neither player shoots the ball all that well from three, but both guys are good rebounders due to their height and athleticism. WalterFootball.com: 2011 NBA Draft Scouting Report: Alec Burks

| 2011 NBA Draft Scouting Report: Derrick Williams Position: Power Forward Size: 6-8, 240 School: Arizona, Sophomore Strengths: Incredible athleticism Explosive at the rim Exploits bigger defenders with his quickness Has a great feel for the basket when playing along the baseline Great spin move to the hoop when his back is to the basket Length serves as an asset on the glass and as a shot blocker Solid ball handler for his size Runs the floor well Weaknesses: Needs to become stronger and more physical Struggles guarding bigger players in the post, often getting into foul trouble Too often goes for the monster block which adds to his foul trouble Range on his jump shot A tweener forward Summary: Williams made a splash in his first year at Arizona earning the Pac-10 Freshman of the Year honor. His athleticism is off the charts for someone his size, but he needs to develop his perimeter game and become stronger if he wants to reach his full potential as an NBA power forward. He would be an intriguing first-round prospect if he decided to delcare after his sophomore season. Player Comparison: Tyrus Thomas. In terms of their athleticism and explosiveness, Thomas and Williams are both extremely gifted. Thomas has struggled in the NBA because he is still trying to figure out what kind of forward he is. Like Williams, Thomas is not a consistent enough perimeter shooter to play the three, but also lacks the physicality and strength of a true four. Williams will also have to figure this out if he is going to find a home in the league. WalterFootball.com: 2011 NBA Draft Scouting Report: Derrick Williams

| 2011 NBA Draft Scouting Report: Brandon Knight Position: Point Guard Size: 6-3, 183 School: Kentucky, Freshman Strengths: Great playmaker Terrific in the open court Quickness Blow-by first step Utilizes floater in the lane Three-point shooter Quick release on his jumper Creating his own shot Plays very hard on the defensive end Potential to be a lockdown perimeter defender High character off the court Weaknesses: Turnover prone Forces the issue too often Still learning to be a true point guard Needs to get a little stronger Summary: Brandon Knight is a scoring point guard who will need to become a better pure floor leader to reach his potential at the next level. He is the next in line of John Calipari-coached point guards to likely be one-and-done and should be a top-20 pick. Player Comparison: Gilbert Arenas. Knight reminds me of a young Gilbert Arenas - a scoring point guard who is not a true floor general. Both guys can stroke it from deep but also get to the basket. I think Knight is more capable of developing into a true point guard, something that Arenas has never done at the next level. WalterFootball.com: 2011 NBA Draft Scouting Report: Brandon Knight
