I still want to know what happens if there isn't a season in terms of next year's draft order.

Anyone know?

My understanding is next year's order would be the same odds as this years if there was a lock out. So we would have the second best chance to get number 1. it would actually benefit us honestly.

I'll just quote my father's most recent Facebook update.

Besides being thankful to our veterans, I am also thankful that the thugs in the NBA did not get their way. How would you like to have a bunch of thugs own YOUR company!!!!!???? Who cares about pro basketball????

Ram, that would be awesome but not quite as awesome as keeping the same draft order.

Who knows, maybe lightning will strike twice.

There's nothing I'd love to see more than this season go down the toilet (ages the dream team another year) and watch us get next year's number 1 pick. Then we might have a legit shot at building a team that could truly compete with the Miami Hated and the rest of the NBA elite.

I'd give up a year of Cavalier basketball for that. In a heartbeat.
