Changing the organization every few years helps.

Lack of winning, lack of consistency, lack of direction... It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this one out people. We are one of the most fickle fan bases I've seen in all of sport. That's part of why I love being a Browns fan though is because we are easily the most passionate about our team, that works both ways.

BROWNS 2012: Its Weeden's job to lose, it was the second we took him #22 overall.
We had a pretty good draft, and I'd like to start seeing some results.
Fans already looking to next year and I don't blame them.
I think we will have things to be excited about that we lacked last year and we have some real facepalm moments just like last year.
It's going to be tough.
We aren't Barking Hard for nothing.
WOOF WOOF WOOF!

Could not agree more Chief; nothing like changing vision and direction every 24 or so months

Men's Health listed the most educated cities in America.... and Cleveland was 99th out of 100. Miami was last, interestingly, but they obviously have a disproportionate number of immigrants, like L.A.

We're already the poorest city in the country... and now the second least educated. Ouch.

As far as continuity... you don't want to do it with incompetence. Kokinis/Mangini made the Browns not only a 5-win team two years in a row... they made us an OLD bad team, second oldest in the league.

It was gonna have to be torn down whether he stayed or not. It wasn't a good plan.

Point of contention - this is a thread about the INDIANS, bro. Try clicky-clicky on the linky-linky.

> Decrease in attendance: 56.08%

> 2010 W-L record: 69-93 (finished 4th in AL Central)
> League championships last decade: none Cleveland set a Major League Baseball record in 2001 after selling out every single home game since June 1995. The tide changed in 2001, when it lost to Seattle in the first round of the playoffs. The team never performed again at the winning level it had in the 90’s, only making the playoffs again in 2007, losing a heartbreaking loss to the Red Sox in the American League Championship. Attendance then plummeted even further, dropping to just 1.39 million from 3.17 million ten years ago. In 2001, Cleveland drew the fifth-most fans in all of baseball. Last year, the team had the lowest attendance. The team also set a major league record for the lowest attendance in a single game — just 9,853 people showed up to the second home game of the season.
-Michael B. Sauter
Correction: An earlier version of this story referred to Cleveland Indian’s loss against the Boston Red Sox in the World Series in 2007. In fact, Cleveland lost to the Red Sox in the American League Championship that year. Additionally, baseball player Kenneth Griffey Jr. left the Seattle Mariners in 1999 and did not play for the team between 2000 and 2010. Also, The Diamondback’s 2001 win-loss record was 92-70 (finished 1st in NL West) and not 85-77 (finished 3rd in NL West). Finally, Pittsburgh was listed as having a team for every major sport, but it does not have a men’s basketball team.
