As much as I appreciate dual core cpus and improved gpus in my phone, it dawned on me what happens to be holding our phones back, microsd memory.
I can't go to the store anywhere around here and find better than a class 2 8 gig card.
My phone supports 720p video recording, bit the microsd can't write fast enough where the end result wids up with the first 5 seconds looking great, then the rest getting choppy as Hell because the card can't write fast enough and data gets lost in the process.
I'd love to find a class 10 16 or 32 gig card for my phone.
Any ideas as to where and a good brand?

I'm not real sure on BRANDS though...READ THE CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Here ya go:

Amazon Amazon

Amazon Amazon

Amazon Amazon

Amazon has more, just do a search of "micro sd class 10" on there.

I also read that San Disk does NOT show the Class on there HC micro sd cards per customer reviews...you may want to read the CUSTOMER REVIEWS at this

Thanks for the links, sorry it's taken time to respond, had been sitting children every day all day for 2 straight weeks.
I am wondering if anyone here has had positive or negative experiences with the different brands.
When I got my Evo 4g, the tech at the Sprint store warned me under no circumstances but Samsung memory, that they stopped carrying Samsung due to the high failure rate and all the returns they kept getting on them.
I've had a friend who's been through 6 different cards, PNY twice, Kingston twice and Samsung twice, all returned, back to the stock 8 gig Sandisk in her phone that was the default.
Newegg pulled the PDP cards from stock due to the fact they worked great in pcs but too many Droid phones wouldn't recognize the cards, or if they did, would fail after a short time in the phone.

But that Samsung looks sharp, they make a nice phone.
I'd love to get my hands on one and see how vibrant the screen looks, it's kind of hard to tell in the videos.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I'm eligible to upgrade to a new phone on July 7th. And Verizon is scheduled to eliminate the Unlimited Data Plan on July 7th.

Do I wait for the Samsung Galaxy S2 and will it be 3G / Duel Core or do I try to get a new phone 1 day earlier, maybe the Samsung Droid Charge 4G / Single Core (not really my 1st choice)?

I'm perplexed.

Go Sprint with true unlimited everything and get an Evo 3d!
1.2 gig dual core cpu, full gig of ram, 4 gig internal memory, accepts 32 gig micro sdhc cards, 4g speeds, b/g/n wireless support for wifi and shoots pics and video in 3d.
Wait one sec, I WANT ONE NOW!!!!!
Serious though, even though Sprint is only 3g where I am, I love the true unlimited texting, unlimited mobile to mobile, unlimited data, and unlimited nights (7pm to 7 am) and weekends. I wind up using about 200-300 of 750 minutes each month (my entire family and all my friends are mobile, rarely call land lines anymore) and my plan costs $92 a month.

Thanks Tob,
Here's "the rest of the story" ...my company pays for my Verizon phone service (via Family Plan). I just can't stick it to them on crazy data charges.

UPDATE:

After further research, I found out that my Old Droid has the outgoing Unlimited Data Plan and that, since it's a "smartphone", I am Grandfathered in

Here's the key on deciding on phones.
Do you live in a 4g area or frequently travel through 4g areas?
If you answered "yes" then you've got to make your next phone 4g.
4g on Verizon and Sprint are REALLY nice.
As soon as you hit a 4g area your phone gets assigned an ip address and you can talk and surf at the same time, just like when you're at home on wifi. I also noticed a nice speed boost using 4g when I was laid up in the hospital in Cleveland and when I took my grandmothers through Columbus and Cincinnati on their way to Tennessee to visit family.
If not, then it really doesn't matter whether you go 3g or 4g, and you might find a 3g phone that fits you better since the 4gs kind of have a limited pool to choose from atm.

As a Sprint guy myself, I've got an Evo 4g and I love it. The HTC Thunderbolt is a souped up version of the Evo, more memory (ddr and internal), faster cpu, same beautiful screen. Problem is battery life, you're going to keep a charger near you at all times with anything with the 4.3" screen.
So if battery life is going to be a concern for you, go with a smaller screen, say about 3.7".

Maybe a couple of details of what you're looking for in a phone might help a little, big ones being the 3g or 4g, battery life, screen size, and performance.

*** UPDATE - ON SAMSUNG GALAXY S2 ***
The president of Samsung mobile announced that the Galaxy S2 will be released in August of this year.

Rumors are all 4 major carriers will have it. Question is which one gets their version first. I heard AT&T but I saw an article today that said Verizon will be 1st to get it in the US (on August 12th) to compete with the Motorola Droid Bionic and to compete directly with the Iphone 5 which is supposed to be out in early September.

I suspect the Motorola Droid Bionic will be released August 4th, as the rumors also state. Verizon has a HUGE sale right now to clear shelves ...even the new LG Revolution is bigtime price slashed. That sale ends July 30th which tells me that the Bionic will be out the following week.

The Verizon unlimited plan - end/grandfathering (from July 7) will have been over for more than 3 weeks. Customers could only exchange phones for 2 weeks now. So, August 4 makes sense for the popular Droid Bionic to debut.
