Actually Veg, this is the last season of EBD, but it was only written for 3 seasons. People are already starting to clamor for more Kenny Powers, so they may extend it for another season, but who knows. I'd love if they did that cause they film almost exclusively here in Wilmington.

Hey guys, just thought I'd give you an update of what's going on. Well when I posted this, I was just ecstatic to be in one scene of Eastbound, but what was to follow blew all my expectations out of the water. Well I went on set that first day and it was a birthday party scene, which required kid actors to work background, I didn't know this, so when I got there, I was like "Do you need more kids cause I have two boys that can work" (Which means 3 paychecks for moi). The casting director said no we're good for today, so I went about my business, and was in this awesome scene with Danny. At one point where he gives this speech I'm standing right next to him while he goes apeshit. Well the kids they did cast for this scene were complete assholes. They were loud, rude, disobedient and couldn't follow the most simple of instructions. So this was a scene that was to be filmed over 3 days. At the end of the day the casting director came up to me, and said "you said you have 2 sons, can you bring them to the set tomorrow? And will they behave?" Of course I said yes. So that night I went home and gave my boys the speech of their lives about being good on set and making good choices. So the next day we get to set, and my boys act perfectly. My oldest son who is severe ADHD was given like 4 different directions by Jody Hill (the director), and he executed it flawlessly. Then my youngest son was actually in a scene with danny and got a small speaking part. Still waiting to see if they're gonna use his line, but if they do, he gets a SAG contract and 1200 bucks for it. So apparently because my kids were so fucking awesome, it made this casting director look really really good to the producers and everybody. So what followed just made my summer. For the next 2 months I was working on EBD almost daily. I'm in a shit ton of a scenes, the funniest being a rave scene I'm in where I'm wearing skin tight spandex and a skeleton mask. By the end of shooting I was doing work as a stand in for Danny and for Jason Sudekis. That was a really sweet gig cause you get paid way more, and then you're officially "crew member" so the PA's and everybody treats you a bit better than just background extra. We wrapped shooting last week, and I was on the set so much I can pretty much tell you what's going to happen this season on EBD. We are going to shoot for 2 more weeks in Nov, but that's pretty much it. I just feel extremely blessed to get this opportunity. I've been doing comedy less than a year, and already working with A list comedic actors in the business today, even if it was as a background extra. So if that wasn't enough to say "thank you Lord Jesus", I just found out, that we have a big production coming to Wilmington next year, and this production is being cast by the same casting director that did EBD. You might of heard of this little franchise, Marvel Comics produces it, and it goes by the name Iron Man 3. That's right, the next Iron man is being filmed in Wilmington. One of the producers I talked to said it's going to put 100 million dollars into our economy. that's huge news!! I'm hoping to get a speaking part in that movie, even if it's just as a waiter or something. But even if I can only get on as a background extra, holy shit!!! Anyway, that's what's been going on, and that kinda explains why I haven't been around the board too much this summer.

Yeah Veg, they had a blast. Of course they know Danny as the guy from "Land of the Lost", so they had a blast, and when my youngest had his scene with Danny, he was super cool with him. He said to him before the scene "Now we're about to play pretend, if I act mad at you, I'm not really mad, and don't repeat any of these words". Total class act. Hammer, I'm just concerned about having fun while doing comedy, whether on stage or in front of the camera. If all that other stuff comes, great. You guys are gonna get treated to a helluva tailgate party. But you can't go in chasing that only, you'll make yourself miserable.
