Hey guys. I have a favor to ask that I'm hoping you guys can help with. As some of you know I'm now a stand up comedian, and as part of my "career" I'm required to have a presence on facebook and twitter, and I just created a "fan page" and if you guys can "like" it for me that would make me look more popular, so when potential booking agents look at it, it will appear I'm more established. Thanks guys I do appreciate it. Sean Webb | Facebook

Thanks for the encouragement bro, I do appreciate it, and trust me I'm chasing this dream like no other. I'm 33 years old, and for the most part I've meandered through life. I thought perhaps my calling was in theology/the ministry but God closed those doors on me several times, same with working in the IT field (I like working on computers but never had a passion for it). For the past 10 years I've been raising my two sons, and taking care of my brother with autism. Never had time for anything but that and work. However God has a funny way of working things out. I've always been a HUGE fan of stand up comedy. I remember as a kid watching A&E's an evening at the Improv, which was an hour long show on (DUH) A&E that usually featured 3 or 4 "up and coming" comics. Such comics like Ron White, Larry David and Drew Carey. I always watched them with a sense of awe, I thought it was the coolest thing to get up in front of a room of people and tell jokes, and not just knock knock type jokes, but was then introduced to conversational "bits" and stories. I always wanted to try stand up, there's been so many times I was driving down the road thinking of a funny anecdote and thinking to myself "man, I bet that would be funny to tell on stage", but like I said, life was always in the way, and I never lived in a town that had a true comedy club. That is until last December. So now I'm 8 months into this crazy journey, and I honestly don't know how I got along before comedy came into my life. And please don't mistake this for bragging or anything, because I've been a fuck up of sorts my entire life, always a day late and dollar short, this is the first endeavour that I've stuck with this long with this much intensity, every goal I've set for myself I've reached, with each goal getting a bit grander it went like this. Wanted to have one killer 5 minute set---check Wanted to have an applause break---check Wanted to host a show---check Wanted to open for a nationally touring comedian--check Wanted to have my own show on my own night--check Wanted to accumulate at least 30 minutes of good material-check (I'm up to 1:45 hours of material) Wanted to do a "clean" set of material--check Wanted to be cast as an extra in the hit HBO series "Eastbound and Down"--check Now I'm working on my next goal, to get an actual speaking line in Eastbound and Down, I don't care how small it is. I dont' care if I just say "thank you sir" or something of the sort. It's not out of the realm of possibility, one of the beauties of working on a set that stars Danny McBride and Will Ferrel is that those guys ad lib a TON, and quite a few extras got bumped up to speaking roles simply because they were in the vicinity while those guys were riffing back and forth and were brought into the conversation. I know it can happen. I've worked on EBD 8 times now, and I'm getting closer. Almost had it last week, we were shooting a rave scene, and I was dressed ridiculously, had a skin tight red spandex shirt on, with a skeleton mask and many beads and glow sticks. Anyway, I was standing next to the stage where Danny walks off in the scene, and every time he passed me he would say "Fuck you Skeletor!!", and so I pitched to the director that I should retort "Fuck you Apollo!" (oh yeah, I forgot to mention, Danny is dressed in the Apollo Creed costume from Rocky 4) , and he liked the idea, but the mood of the scene was supposed to change when he comes off stage. Anyway, so when your watching EBD this season and see that rave scene, and then see a fat guy in red spandex with a skeleton mask, you'll know it's me. I have my share of doubters around me, but I will not let it deter me. I'm going to make a living doing this one day, it's just a matter of when. And that's all I'm aiming for right now, just paying the bills by telling jokes. Not talking about fame or fortune, just middle of the road. Tonight I opened for Joe Derosa from Chelsea Lately, and had a very very cool experience. I was out behind the club coming up to the back entrance and there was a younger couple standing back there smoking. I don't know these people from adam, but the guy says to me "Hey Sean, are you doing some time on stage tonight?" and I said "Yeah I am". He immediately turns to his wife, gives her a high five and says "See I told you this would be a good week to come down here!!" I can't even begin to tell you how humbling that is for me. Sean Webb mr fuckup supreme made a young couple laugh hard enough at some point that they not only remembered me, but got excited at the thought of seeing me perform again. I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around that. Anyway, you guys just got a huge dose of the inside of my head. Thanks for listening guys and thanks for being the most awesome Browns fans on the planet!!
