The game played on the Aircraft Carrier was pretty cool. They should make that a tradition from now on. The first game of every college basketball season should be played like that

From one of the few posters on here who has actually played basketball on a carrier I was impressed. They did a good job with the flooring, the stands and everything else.

A couple times a month to break up the monotony they would set up courts in the hangar bay while out at sea. Seemed everytime I actually played basketball out at sea though we lost at least one basketball overboard . On a sad note a sailor on another ship that was in our strike group on cruise in 2005 was lost at sea after making a running catch of a football and going over the side.
