I also have not played this game. I feel like I should.

So I love Skyrim, but two weeks ago I got Saints Row 3 and a wired Xbox controller for my PC, and it's pretty damn cool too. Its been sucking up my spare time like crazy and I've got it about 30% finished 20 hours in. So far my favorite mission has been stealing a jet plane and crashing it, killing the "special" passenger onboard. There's something about parachuting out the plane and watching it explode into a nuklear power plant that makes me chuckle.
Sometimes its just fun to be an evil bastard you know?

I managed to get Barbas early on and haven't complete his quests. I have found he is literally indestructible - nothing hurts him, he doesn't die or run away (yes, other henchmen can die).

He was GREAT last night when I was wandering along and found a bear. We started beating on the bear and I hear the dragon scream and it lands - I yelled out (my wife was sitting next to me) 'Oh shit! A DRAGON!'

Then spriggin show up and join the party.

Somehow Barbas managed to get the dragon to land further away and kept him busy for me - I was able to use bow and spells to kill it after dispatching the spriggins.

There is SO much in this game to explore, it's amazing.

Yeah me and my kids have been playing this for a week, and I agree, this thing is massive, and also a hard game for somebody with ADD like myself. Every time I start some quest, I run into somebody else with another quest then I start on that, till I run into somebody else...and the cycle continues.

I'm in the college of magic right now, my son wants to learn new spells, but we just seem to make the ones we have more powerful.

Also, whats the secret to picking locks? I just break my lockpicks

Haha hell yes!!!!!!
FINALLY got the unbreakable lockpick perk!!
I was getting sick of the sound of snapping picks!

Really spect, I've no idea how you keep them snapping.
I honestly think I did best when I made either a slow clockwise or counterclockwise position once I found a turntable spot that didn't instantly snap my pick and started turning the lock.

The lockpicking in Skyrim is way easier than it was in Oblivion..... I hated lockpicking in Oblivion.
