Since we have alot of people who play this fine game, I thought I would post a thread to talk about all things Skyrim.


I'll start.......those damn spiders in this game scare the shit out of me. Especially if they come in groups. *Shudder*

Got drunk with Sam and wound up on the other side of the map, wound up getting framed for murder and thrown in the mines, fight my way out and kill damn near every guard in the city.
Don't drink with Sam.

I love blacksmithing. Making my own weapons and armor and them being as good or better than anything I can buy really makes me want to work on this skill and sink perk points in it.
Archery has some nice perks in it.
Lockpicking has a perk where you no longer break picks!
Since I've yet to pick up a strategy guide, I've no idea how the spouse thing works or when it even happens, but the option feels like it was thrown in there just because it was so popular in the Fable series.
AI companions are a double edged sword. They fight decent, but often get in your damn way. Big plus? They're the ultimate pack mules! Anything I can't carry is weighing them down till I find a shop.

Big thing, the amount of quests happens to just be overwhelming! I feel like I'm missing out on so much when I'm ignoring side quests to do the main mission.

Left handers are one step ahead in evolution ...so says science.

I am currently attending the college of magic in game.

Main skills I have taken up ...2 handed weapons, archery, and after I am done with my schooling, conjuring.

I got the amulet from Maramal when I went into the local tavern/inn in Riften, can't remember the name of it. I guess he stopped off for a little pop before resuming his holy duties. He was distinctive in looks as he wore a hood, kinda looked like a Jedi. I guess after you get the amulet, (you need to be wearing it), that people start being "interested" in you. I haven't had it very long so I haven't experienced anybody coming onto me yet .
I'm thinking though, why do I want to get married in a game, I play games to get away from real life.

If in game marriage was like real marriage a whole generation would stop breeding.....
Hell, I've never married, but while raising my brother's and sister's kids, I was getting nagged non stop from my mother, sister and brother's girlfriend.
That was close enough for me.

I actually struggled a great deal in kindergarten with the right handed scissors I was forced to use. That, and the damn latch on Grandfather's door wouldn't ever come off right.

So says science: lefties might get selected out of the gene pool. One of these days there's gonna be a fire and I'll be doomed with my inferior choice of appendage.

Still loving this game, got 60+ hours in and still haven't seen the 3 major cities up North. Was wandering around the mountains last night in game. and was just minding my own business, enjoying the view, and I hear a loud thud behind me. I look uphill, and see a dead horse go tumbling right past me. It must of fell out of the sky. I have seen a few mammoths fall out of the sky, but never a horse.

I'm hoping to post some screenshots soon, post some if you guys have any.
