Ok guys, now that we are over here and posting you guys can really take this software for a test drive. With that in mind we want to accomidate everybody as best as possible. Gabe is working as hard as he can to get everything installed and running. However we do want to hear from you, so post your suggestions in this thread. Anything you see that's not working, let us know here so we can take a look at it.

We'll get to all of them sooner or later.

Couple I've noticed right off the bat:

1. Being able to just start typing in this "quick reply" box then use the buttons for when you want to quote or reply directly to a specific post.
2. I'm still familiarizing myself with the navigation, but it seems to have everything I was looking for previously

3. Haven't found the edit button yet or I would have included in previous post
4. Thread/post "bells & whistles" are all text for me.

Hmm - I can edit now:

I like the tags feature - will definitely be a cool feature if used (it will take some getting used to adding them to your posts but will really simplify searching).

5. I dont like the "last edited by legacy fan" or whatever feature. I edit damn near everything I type (a lot of times for spelling/typos b/c I'm on a Blackberry.) I'd prefer not to look like a complete and total failure at life, thank you very much! Although, I'm cool with it if it's not possible. Not a deal breaker.

To get into the quick reply box, just click on the box in the lower right hand corner of the last post. It's a pic of a quill on paper. I had a hard time figuring that out as well.

Also I won't have all the answers for these questions, this is definitely Gabe's software. I've used VBulletin before but never as an admin. So for some we'll have to wait for him to come along.

OMG! We used to have such fun with the "last edited" stuff...

you can add comments to why you edited so you won't look like an idiot.

We used to have whole side conversations in the edits!! LOL!

And there's the multi-quote!!!

Yeah That worked. However, all of my "buttons" are text. I think that's a orangegrove skin thing though. Now they are buttons.

Also, increase the number of posts per page. It looks like the default is set to 10. 20's a good number & if you can go higher, let 'er rip.

Also good thing with it showing that you edited it is when you get in debates with a troll they can't go back and edit the stupid shit out of their post without you knowing that edited it.

Rich was bad for doing that. He'd let a post fly with all kinds of foul names n' shit like that, then when you'd call him on it he'd go back and edit that stuff out and play innocent dove.

Yeah, I'd prefer to see it removed as well.
