- BROWNS 2012: Its Weeden's job to lose, it was the second we took him #22 overall.
We had a pretty good draft, and I'd like to start seeing some results.
Fans already looking to next year and I don't blame them.
I think we will have things to be excited about that we lacked last year and we have some real facepalm moments just like last year.
It's going to be tough.
We aren't Barking Hard for nothing.
WOOF WOOF WOOF!

IF you don't think the Cleveland Browns have already picked Brandon Weeden to be their starting QB for the upcoming season, you're not reading between the lines.
IF you think Colt McCoy has an honest shot at the starting QB gig... you're not reading between the lines.
This is coming from the team that TOLD Colt that we would not be drafting a QB in the 1st round, and than we did. I wouldn't put it past the team to tell Colt "it's a Competition Colt, don't worry."...

With the 100th pick of the NFL Draft, the Browns chose Travis Benjamin from the University of Miami. He stand's 5'10, and is weighed in at 175... so the guy's about as heavy as I am, (I am 6'4"). He's noted for his incredible speed. He played quite a bit during his four years at Miami and is noted for his play making ability, averaging 16.4 yards per catch in his 4 years at Miami.
Honestly, with what we have on this team, I can't see how this guy cannot fight for a starting spot...

A fans address, as Browns fans we all have personal ties to the team, for whatever reason we are all united from all over the world to talk about the Cleveland Browns, a football team dear to our hearts. To watch this football team over the last decade has had it's ups and downs. One thing I love about this fan base is that we constantly find optimism where ever we can. We are very fickle when it comes to criticizing this team...
With that in mind, I am going to pick this fucking...

Maybe I'm biting on the hype but I wanted to separate fact from fiction in my mind and at least.... Put the talk to rest, I need to make my own opinion. I've spent the better part of today watching tape on Robert Griffin III... now I just want to start out by saying I am not a "wannabe scout." I've never professed to know more or less than any of you so take what I have to say here for what it is, the observations of a football fan.
I've made some notes on what I've taken...

Collect it, wrap it up and just throw it away. From week one to week seventeen, throw it all in the garbage because how much of it really mattered? Lets start from the top of the gravy train of retrospect.
Shurmur / McCoy: Well, not to write it off after one season but there's legitimate buzz the team is willing to in certain regard. Shurmur's "quarterback knowledge" was a selling point and I ask all of you, especially the supporters, was there any point at all this...
