Yeah, one of the ugliest plays last fall was when Michigan LB Obi Ezeh got beat by Iowa TE Tony Moeaki, then couldn't catch up as the tight end ambled down the field. It was an embarrassing display of marginal speed, and it's why Ezeh will be very limited scheme-wise at the next level (probably a two down 3-4 inside backer).

If New England didn't have the faith to turn him into a solid OLB, then I think that's saying something. Crable was never good against the run, and despite being highly touted out of High School he disappointed in college until his last season, IMO. I was never a fan of him at UM. |
