Got a cousin that suffers migraines, nasty stuff.
Some days he's fine, other days he can't even function.
While I'm glad this didn't happen to one of our guys, I hope they get this straightened out soon enough.
One thing that can cause migraines but is overlooked because it has no logical link would be the heart.
Often babies are born with small holes in their hearts, which is not life threatening and usually heals up by itself. It it doesn't heal by itself it does not become life threatening and most people with the condition (patent foramen ovale) can live normal, productive lives without ever knowing they have it, in fact, it is estimated that 15-25% of most people have pfo.
In extreme cases of patent foramen ovale, people can suffer chronic migraines and it could even cause a stroke (former lead singer of Poison, Brett Michaels is a prime example of the extreme condition).
So I'm praying they do a full CAT scan on him and can get this fixed.
