Im in that boat too. I'm torn over Fitz, but my backup choices are Johnny Knox or Mike Sims-Walker... Ahh man. At least I have Reggie Wayne to make up for it.

Fans already looking to next year and I don't blame them. I think we will have things to be excited about that we lacked last year and we have some real facepalm moments just like last year. It's going to be tough. We aren't Barking Hard for nothing. WOOF WOOF WOOF! ![]() |

Glad you feel my pain, EE. And sorry you do, too. Our draft was before that QB situation played out and I knew it was a risk taking Fitz but I was picking end of 2nd/top of 3rd (after drafting Brees first overall; yeah, I know, not looking good right now) and figured I'd have no shot at another top 10 WR if I passed. So I took Fitz and CJ -- again, not looking good right now. Luckily, I took Best in the 4th so my season has been saved by him. I'm hoping I can eke out a few more wins until Stafford gets back to help out CJ and/or teams focusing on Best will open CJ back up. Anyway, back to the thread: DA is at least smart enough to throw it to Fitz often. Of his 17 completions last week, 7 were to Fitz and I think he was targeted almost as many more times. And that's the only good thing to say about DA: he is able to put a ball NEAR a target so an All-World WR like Fitz may only see his production drop to All-Pro, if DA can at least keep the ball near him and out of the other team's hands. |

I found this on Roto Times today...Not that this blurb will shock any of us or actaully news to any of us.. I guess I just like to kick Anderson when he's down ha ha ha Derek Anderson, QB, Arizona CardinalsMonday 9/27, 10:37 AM CTThrough three games played this season, Derek Anderson has completed just 52 percent of his passes. Only Bruce Gradkowski, Jimmy Clausen and Matt Moore have worse completion percentages. Our View: This is, of course, nothing new for Anderson, who has completed just 52.9 percent of his career passes. Although the Cardinals are off to a 2-1 start, they aren't likely to win two more if Anderson remains their quarterback.

Im glad I didn't start Fitzgerald... problem was Mike Sims-Walker didn't do any better. I am going to be pissed if Johnny Knox has a big game.

Nah. Some things are corrosive to the soul, even to type them. Besides, if I let real hatred infect my heart for pro athletes, I'd have to stop enjoying the whole spectacle. Better I keep them in a "performance-only" box of criticism. |
