I really did not expect for Vick to get the starting job from Kolb by week 3. Kolb got injured didn't he? Regardless... Very surprised by this.

Heckert reportedly was willing to give up two 1sts for Kolb (back in '08 when he was considering taking the Falcons' GM job).

He loves the guy; it could happen but probably not until the offseason.

I wouldn't agree that Vick is interesting, I agree that he's flashy.

My problem with Michael Vick is that

1) I can't respect him because of what he's done.

2) EVERY SINGLE INTERVIEW he does he comes across like some child who's been scolded and has this "...yes mom" kind of sorry-for-himself attitude that he uses to try and milk sympathy. "I just have to count this as a blessing by God."

Oh really Michael? For eff's sakes.

I just want him to show a little CONFIDENCE maybe, is that so wrong? I don't know. I'm grasping at straws here but I just can't stand listening to his interviews.

3) ONE bad game is all it's going to take for this "cinderella" story to turn into another chapter in the Michael Vick nightmare. Part of me wants the Eagles to deal Kolb and see their team has no future with Vick and have it go from there.

Vick's been dynamic and it's hard to argue his statistics, but I think that in this case his statistics are deceptive. He's played some good ball but he's also made some terrible plays. He's just been fortunate enough that those bad plays haven't cost his team the game... unlike SOME TEAM'S QB's....

Vick is playing with a vengence, he's passing like Brady out there, its kind of ridiculous.

I kind of want money on the eagles this year, they are solid ALL AROUND

-Mccoy is turning out to be an EXACT replica of Westbrook and is dominating
-Maclin is turning into the way T.O. was with the Eagles, Dominant
-Vick is playing like Mcnabb can... with the perks that he's four times as fast
-The o-line is holding up well enough
-DeSean Jackson is showing up BIG time (look at these weapons: Maclin, Mccoy, Jackson, Vick)
-Celek is young and becoming VERY consistent
-The Philly defense is complex, and not playing to the level that they have in the past, but they are showing progress and will get better. They're still better than us.
-The coach.. Andy Reid? Need I say more?

They built their team with true NFL talent, which is what we need to do, we need to draft our Mccoy and Maclin, and Vick for that matter (locker anyone?)

Our D is solid and getting better daily.

If you're trying to make the point that Philly is better than us than I agree with you, no argument. I think the Eagles could take that division the way things have been going. Vick has more Weapons than he had in Atlanta.

If you're trying to sell me that Vick is the real deal, I'm going to need more than 2 games to take Vick seriously. He's proven his abilities as an NFL starter, he went to the Pro Bowl multiple times and lead the Falcons to the playoffs twice.

It's not like trying to sell me on Alex Smith. I respect what Michael Vick has accomplished as a QB but I think his level of play have been blown out of proportion. If he can keep it up, then I will take notice, for now he's just hot hot feet.
