Default Rodgers & Pack vs. Urlacher & Bears

Rodgers is looking unreal good right now. Urlacher is looking healthy and his old self. An epic matchup enfolding right now on Monday Night.

Also, Bears throwbacks are SICK. Old school font in orange with no trim on midnight navy blue, white pants with orange and blue piping and socks with orange stripes. FANTASTIC look. Don't know origin but best throwbacks I've seen.

REALLY good game here, guys. Go turn it on!

Been watching it and it has been great so far. I've been banking on Cutler having a big game, he balanced a bad INT with a nice 8-yard TD pass so... -s-.

I don't think he'll be single handedly winning me my Fantasy Football match-up this week.

We had a pretty good draft, and I'd like to start seeing some results.
Fans already looking to next year and I don't blame them.
I think we will have things to be excited about that we lacked last year and we have some real facepalm moments just like last year.
It's going to be tough.

Just noticed Bears helmets are TOTALLY blank, no C, no stripes, nothing. Pretty damn cool.

Also: Hester a vision of his old self returns late 1st half punt to set up Bears who cut lead to 10-7. Dammit, this game is good enough that I am going to have to stay up.

Ha. That was a cool play. Rodgers threw Hail Mary into endzone right before half and Urlacher goes up as deep safety and two-hand slaps it to Lance Briggs who makes the pick. Total garbage INT that only affects fantasy freaks like me but a hell of a cool play.

Speaking of that punt return, did you see the punter get the tackle on Hester there? I thought it was funny how the announcers were ribbing him a bit after the play "not too often you see the punter making tackles like that."

Good game so far, shame I won't be able to stay up to finish it, I'm falling asleep as it is.

Tell me about it, EE. I'm dying over here but this game is actually fast-paced and entertaining as hell. Great plays and hits all over.

Seriously, Rodgers is sick. He's threading shit all over the place. I hate the Bears Cover-2 because I hate the whole "bend don't break" principle of D but I have to admit it does force a QB to beat it with accuracy.

Problem is, Rodgers is super accurate so he's beating it. The Bears, however, are keeping him out of the end zone, though he's chewing field and clock.

Aaron Rodgers is playing a hell of a game and there's times he's made the Bears D look just plain awful. The Bears D has been keeping them in the game though, and I think that will be the difference until Jay Cutler and the Bears offense can get into gear.

There's been a lot of miss opportunities in that first half, I expect a bit more scoring in the second half of this game.

I am SO enjoying watching an evidently healthy Urlacher. That D is totally different when BU is right.

Also really enjoying Peppers ABUSING that LT. Another hold just negated a nice Rodgers pass for TD.

Chucky brought up a good point: Bears D forces O's to convert on 3rd down and with Peppers now bringing a ton of pressure -- AND NOW A BLOCK!!! HOLY SHIT! NICE PEPPERS!!!! -- from the outside, that's not easy to do.

I was skeptical of the Peppers move but he is a natural fit in this scheme. I'm impressed. He single-handedly turned that drive from a TD to zero points with the holding call and now the block.

Wow. There's hope here.

Wow. What a great 2nd half. Shades of 2006 Bears. Hester TD, Urlacher punched ball out, Bears recover.

So fun to watch when it's working.

Rodgers made a nice run in there, too. Dude has balls running like that.

I want the Bears to win for Martz' benefit but then again I want to go above .500 in the pick-em which means the packers getting a FG in OT

hmm
