I have a hard time criticizing a rookie in week six who has been injured. Give us a break.. This guy could be a star for years and years.. he has actually looked very good when his ankle has been healthy. So I'm not sure what your going for here..sounds just like sour grapes or jealousy.. He's a rookie. There is only one Randy Moss.

| If I didn't see him return a punt for a TD - I'd give that a little more creedence. I think the reality that alot of people don't want to factor in is there's a reason why guys like Miles Austin, Vincent Jackson, Lance Moore, Sidney Rice, Wes Welker, Brandon Lloyd, Hines Ward, Keenan McCardell aren't instant gems within their first 2 seasons. This has less to do with talent than how much there is to learn at the NFL level. The quickest studies usually find themselves under the wing of a cognitive workaholic like Peyton Manning (ie: Austin Collie) Another quality is NONE of those guys are divas that put I before team. Upside becomes possible. We drafted an absolute puke like Braylon Edwards at #3 overall who has to have utopian circumstances to remain interested in football for the team paying him so dearly. We also had another hollowdome named Donte Stallworth celebrating his 2nd signing bonus within a 365 day period behind bars. Is it safe to say character was one of your worries with Bryant? Then why are you so quick to defend those that insulted our franchise for not drafting him as they insulted Joe Haden? I was assured EVERY day this offseason that Dez Bryant was going to be the Superbowl MVP. Let's hear the hear the progress report from his cheerleaders today. Seems to me there was a large crew pointing out what a crappy draft pick Joe Haden was when they were pointing out what a winning difference Dez Bryant would be in Dallas. Not to break up the celebration of the undefeated season in Dallas; but we did REAL good with Joe Haden in round 1 this year. He's easily our best corner already. - Tom F.

With as bad as our secondary is without Haden I for one am glad we picked him. Would like to see him play more and make some more nice interception returns like the one he had today. Dallas - they can have their undefeated season with Bryant. What? they aren't undefeated? They have just as many wins as Cleveland? |

Please note that about 45 min ago dez bryant caught a 33 yard touchdown pass with the same ankle injury that has our qb's sitting out for multiple weeks, the kid is damn good He also almost saved the cowboy today as he dodged half the team on the final punt return with seconds to go. heres his punt return for a td heres his catch today... it may be removed before you see it though..

Unfortunately for you, 1 TD reception in 5 weeks hardly makes him the 7th overall franchise saviour you declared he'd be. All your endless promises and assurances that Dez was gonna make Dallas unbeatable while we were all stupid to be happy we drafted Joe Haden aren't holding true. Super Dez only had 1 catch and 1 enormous dropsy on 3rd down late in the 4th quarter today. I'm guessing your video only likes half that truth right? You're not exactly kicking all our asses with that. This is what your saviour had on the year heading into today's terrific accomplishment of 1 reception: 4 games 17 rec 180 yds 45 yds/gm 3.1 yds/rec Chansi Stuckey can do that without us wasting a #7 overall to acquire him. You can HATE this draft we had all you want but I think it's getting painfully obvious just how important the additions of TJ Ward and Joe Haden were to this secondary. Haden is easily our best corner while Ward is easily our best Safety. Any arguements? There shouldn't be. Colt McCoy looked pretty decent considering what a few veteran QBs looked like vrs Pitt so far. This isn't really the piss poor draft you've bellyached about. If Ward, Haden, McCoy and Luvao all end up becoming reliable starters by the season's end - it'll mean we had a pretty good draft. - Tom F.

This is already a pretty good draft, at least much better than any in recent history. Haden should be starting over Wright, Ward already is starting, Hardesty would have been starting if not for the injury, same for Luvao but he will be starting before the year is over, Colt is starting now because of injury and doesn't look bad so far...That's just the first three rounds. Come to think of it, damn good draft considering what Phil, Butchie and Carmen Policy did to set back this franchise over the years! |
