Ha. Good. Stupid Favre. Stupid Vikings.

See, fellas? More reason I'm glad I'm a Browns fan.

We are absolutely moving in the right direction. Same record as them, WAAAAAAY different circumstances.

ESPN.com news services

The Minnesota Vikings have relieved Brad Childress of his coaching duties and promoted defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier to interim coach for the rest of the season, the team said.
Frazier and Vikings owner Zygi Wilf are scheduled to hold a news conference at 4 p.m. ET at the team's facility in Winter Park, Minn.
The Vikings, tabbed as a preseason Super Bowl pick, struggled to a 3-7 record amid dysfunction. Wilf had said he would stick with Childress, but the last straw was apparently the team's humbling 31-3 loss to the archrival Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

They deserve it for letting Favre hold that team hostage as he did with the packers.

I really didn't think after the year they had with Favre last season that this team would be 3-7 and firing their coach. I mean what do you expect, Favre was on fire last season and had a career year. Not having Rice was a pretty huge hole now that we've had time to dissect this thing.

Frazier's a guy a lot of people think is on the rise for HC.

You know whats gonna be funny is JJ cries about the roony rule and personally I think it should be abolished. I think teams should be able to hire whom they want without being strongarmed to taking someone they didnt want....So I guess in the Vikings mind they doing thier "interview" now...gonna be real interesting see next season unfold.

I was suprised by this but not too suprised. The Vikings have just completely self destructed on offense. I don't really get it, but then again I havn't followed the team. All I know is that Harvin and Rice have had issues all season with the injuries and migranes and sleep apnea and such..

It's starting to look more and more like Ryan has a pretty good shot at a head coaching job next season.
That being said, anyone here see anyone on the market that could be a solid DC for us with experience that would be willing to work here for 1-3 seasons till they got some market value and went for a HC position again?

When Belichick fleeced them for a draft pick for a few weeks of Randy Moss's services you kinda knew at that point his days were numbered.
